That's an ace little tool, I wish First Direct did that. Think of it as if you turned your £40 into £55! Your enthusiasm is infectious, keep it up :T I keep looking at YNAB and doing imaginary payments etc. I reckon I could fairly accurately predict my bank balance day by day for the next couple of months :rotfl:

I'm obsessed with imaginary payments and forecasts too :-)

I use an accounts app, called account tracker I think it is. It is a paid app, was less than £2 but it's saved me a lot of unplanned overdraft fees over the years. Plus it also makes reports for you to see where your money is going each month. I'm obsessed with it!

  • Got a letter through the post today from HSBC. I don't usually look forward to receiving mail from them for obvious reasons, but opened it over breakfast. Turns out they didn't send me all the documentation that they should have done for my 8k graduate loan I took out three years ago, and as such they are obliged to refund me three years worth of interest! Just under a grand coming my way on the 29th December. Happy xmas to me! Will put some onto the debt repayment, but am definitely going to spend some in the sales :-) Good start to my weekend.

Awesome news, that's a nice Christmas present! The MSE head says put it all to debt repayment... but sod it, treat yourself :rotfl: A lad I work with has just had a similar letter, and the next day he won £500 on a scratchcard!
