Sadly Lottie - I'm only lurking around the 13% mark...I was helping another DFW Anna celebrate nearly getting there. It'll be a while for me _pale_

I found a group hug for us though :grouphug:

D'oh! Sorry Dizzy - I managed to congratulate Anna after you and totally misread your post - what a muppet! 13% is marvellous though - and while I'm still on 3% 'tis fabulous inspiration for me and everyone to keep plugging away! :D

If I ever feel low I'm just going to come back to this page and look at that smilie though - it's obscene!! (I love it!) :rotfl:

  • not much has been done to my debts recently, I may be in a position to pay it all off at the end of the month, but I may hold off and try and smash in my biggest debt with a full and final offer to try and demolish mine and my wifes 19k combined debts...

We simply dont know yet but I will keep you all updated

  • Quick check in, #156.

No positive changes to my debt but I had cleared one credit card recently. I have now moved my much higher interest card (34.08%) onto my recently cleared card (19.9%) and added a small store card to it (the store card was at 39.9% - OUCH!!!). The small fee for transferring my credit card balance has now been added to my debt but I feel it was worth it in the long run as I will now save a lot in interest (a lot more than the fee costs) and get it cleared quicker. It is also nice to see that my debt will be in only 2 places now rather than scattered around so I am feeling relatively positive about it all now.

Chin up everyone :) We can do this! Im still aiming for my November pay packet to be entirely my own, and have more free money from my October one. Fingers crossed...

#114 Paid off another £1000 today so I'm currently on £7941/£53,416

That's as much as I'll be able to pay for the first quarter of the year as I have alot on this month. Looking at the massive amount of debt it doesn't seem like I'm on track to meet my target but I hope to increase my self employed earnings month by month so each quarter I'll be paying a bit more. I'll also be selling some of my virtual real estate around November to make up any shortfall for the year.

Fingers crossed it'll all work out - this is an accumulation of many, many years of debt and I've never paid hardly anything towards it so this is a massive undertaking for me! No-one to blame but myself unfortunately :( I'm excited to finally be working on getting out of debt though and seeing a tiny light at the end of the tunnel!
