    Yes amr547! Paying it monthly or quarterly always works out more expensive over the year - and now it's paid it's done for 12 months! Look at it this way - you've paid it off in one lump but if you divided that it works out at £26.66/month - so that's only a small dent into your month even though you've done it all in one hit!

    Yes, true :D That's how I was looking at it :rotfl: apparently it'd have cost nearly £100 more if I'd opted for monthly instalments :eek:

    I know someone whose renewal came up at an extra £200 - he rang them to see if they could reduce it, no go, he left them, then did the comparisons and got the SAME COMPANY with a lower price then he'd been paying initially so re-joined as a new customer. It is bonkers! :rotfl:

    Chin up, people! :) Roll with the punches and keep your eyes on the prize.

    Just had to get some scuba kit which I hadn't budgeted for - unfortunately I can't carry on with my training unless I get it. Felt the familiar short-term high, followed by the even more familiar post-purchase guilt. However, I think if I gave up my hobby at the moment, I'd wonder what the point of it all was!

    Has anybody got any interesting guilty pleasures or hobbies which keep them amused?
