Woke up to some excellent news this morning! I complained to Barclays regarding packaged bank fees 2 weeks ago, not expecting anything. Lo and behold, they've credited my account with £4126 this morning! Gobsmacked! So afer weeks of worrying how I seemed to be getting nowhere with this debt, I'm gladly updating my debt total after allocating it all to my debt! Absolutely over the moon!#171

You are doing so well dida80 :T
I've been paying minimums for years thinking i was on top of things just because I could easily pay the minimum amounts off...so wrong!
Someone said on here that the teeny tiny light at the end of the tunnel will get bigger and . How true.
I've paid a bit off so will update the old signature later but will do some Ebaying first.
I really really hate Ebaying. Anyone else find it utterly tedious for little return  i must admit I like big easy wins!
Oh same here, and it was fine...until OH lost his job and a massive recession hit the world!! Never again!!Woke up to some excellent news this morning! Wow well done you. I must remind OH to do this for his NW account.DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
Self confession time (you lot do have a knack of making me feel guilty... in a good way!).
The last few days I've gone off the rails a bit I'm afraid, due to a bit of a splurge on scuba gear which in all fairness would need buying sooner or later. I think I can still be DFBXmas, but it's going to be a bit tougher than planned - I've probably put myself back by a month or so. I do like to shoot myself in the foot
Coming on here has given me a bit of a slap, and I'll be getting back on top of everything... YNAB, new debt total etc on Monday
Well done to everyone on their payments, and an even bigger thanks to the support everyone is giving each other.0 -
