Looking forward to payday on Friday so I can chuck some more money at this debt. When I hit the £20k mark I broke it down into 100 pieces so 1% = £200. Got the idea off one of the other MSE challanges. So now all I do is pay off 1% whenever I can afford to. I've already paid 7% of the £20k which is great. Makes it a lot less daunting and good motivation for "chipping away". Anyway, last update before payday:

    #119 - £24,308/£42,908 (56.7%)

    Keep going everyone! :T
  • Another couple of payments made today :)

    #100 £242.30/7162.90 - 3% paid
  • Another cheeky payment

    #100 £292.30/7162.90 - 4%
  • Hi everyone

Can't wait for pay day on Friday, January has been such a long long month.

I have been doing some finance paperwork and have decided to take the bull by the horns and count all of my debt together. I was just posting 1 cc but have decided to add my overdraft and the other smaller cc so that I have a grand total. That way I will know exactly what is being paid and what I have left to pay.

I have also made another payment since I posted last time but this will be the last for January.

Pablosammy could you please amend my total to 320/£11,810.87 2.7% it terrifies me when I see it all together but it is more realistic.
I will change my signature shortly.

Many thanks for all of the support and inspiration you all pass on. Good luck with the debt busting.

Just paid £25 on catalogue bringing January payments to £943... definitely wont be making anymore as its not payday until next Friday.

Hmmm... better get my thinking cap on if I want to make 15k of payments and i'm only averaging 1k payments a month.

Get paid twice in may but still leaves me a shortfall of 2k to find!

ANYBODY WANT TO BUY A 16 MONTH OLD - BARGAIN PRICE OF 2K.

Failing that... best try stick all my old stuff on ebay.
