Congratulations and welcome Sunshine!
Twinklie - It must vary between areas, as I'm on baby no.2 and do have a 25 week appointment. I'm not high risk either.
Baby is kicking a lot now. It's really strange for me as with DD I had an anterior placenta and didn't even feel these kind of movements in the latter weeks of pregnancy. I have to confess sometimes when she's really going for it, it makes me feel a bit queasy!0 -
Hello all can I join you?
AmyTurtle Due 14th November
I'm now 12+4 and sleep has gone out the window for about 4 weeks now! I've always been a good sleeper and now I wake up between 3 and 5 and struggle to get back to sleep, and if I do it's just dozing and I keep waking up. Makes no difference what time I go to bed either. Woke at 3.30am and I'm so tired I could cry0 -
Welcome AmyTurtle! I found that my sleeping was all over the place from about 7 weeks until about 16 weeks, mainly because I was constantly thirsty and then of course I needed the loo all the time afterwards! I then had 2 or 3 good weeks before the aches and pains kicked in! Now I spend all night changing position and rearranging pillows to try and get comfortable.0

Welcome to the newbies. This thread is so quiet at the moment - hope that's because everyone is doing well and busy preparing for their new arrivals!
Musogirl- I am exactly the same as you, tossing and turning all night, trying to get comfortable using numerous pillows. Can't believe this will continue for another 4 and a half months!
Got my 20 week scan next Wed. V excited to see bubba again but starting to get worried now incase anything is wrong.0 -
Had a bit of a scare earlier when I realised I didn't remember feeling baby all day. Was about to mention it to DH when he starting raving in my tummy! 😀
I'm presuming I was just too distracted at work.
Happy weekend everyone. xxReduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Just updating!
Had a scan yesterday, at 16 weeks as our first scan (which turned out to be 10 days earlier than thought) showed a high NT measurement. We were rescanned a week later and all then seemed OK, but the consultant wanted to scan at 16 weeks to double check for any problems.
Anyway, they think everything is fine, and we also found out that our son James is going to be having a baby brother!
