Woolisox my DH has only felt a couple of kicks one last night and one just over a week ago, I'm 23 weeks tomorrow. It's so variant and just takes a lot of patience. It will happen.
Abrighton annoying about the car, hope it wasn't too costly to fix! I sometimes think baby knows it's dad's hand there and stops moving on purpose haha. Typical that its wiggling away whilst OH not there to feel
Nursery has now been painted and I'm working my sweetness to get DH to start putting stuff together, I'm so Impatient! We have got a busy 6weeks before babys arrival though so need to plan ahead to be ready beforehand.Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
Mum to two boys :heartpuls0 -
Jut delurking to say tell your OHs it won't be long - mine couldn't feel much til around 24 weeks but after that it just gets more and more and soon they can see you stomach full on moving too :-)Officially Mrs B as of March 2013

Sadly have to go back next week once parts are in. It will cost but affordable and necessary.
Yes, we are sure bean knows when daddy is there and stops!
Eep re so close to arrival0 -
Yep my OH now feels lots of movement too at 28.5 weeks and you can see my stomach move at times which is a bit distracting if you're in a meeting at work! Mine also kicked the midwife this week when she was doing heartbeat and nearly knocked the doppler out her hand, oops!0

Thank guys! I am reassuring him , and I told him I get the odd wriggle, not full on kicks but I guess he's just feeling a bit left out of the whole pregnancy thing at the moment. To compromise I have let him choose whether or not we find out the gender of the baby, and he can tell everyone however he likes, if that's what he wants. I do feel a bit sorry for him, but there's nothing I can really do about it.
We're car shopping at the moment so I'm dreading when he finds one and it turns out to be a shed. Was looking looking forward to a lovely shiny new car but we've decided not to get one on finance as with me going on maternity pay our finances will need a major shake-up in a few months.
Sorry to hear about the MOT, Arbrighton. Its terrifying when they hand you the list of things that need fixing.0 -
There's only one scary thing. One was having run out of screen wash (wish i was kidding) and the other two were the rear indicator bulbs having lost their orange coating (you what now...)
Bean has just gone into hiding from daddy again!0 -
Last MOT we had the car passed with flying colours! Two weeks later the gearbox shattered all over the road and the clutch seized. Car was scrapped and we haven't had one since. That was June last year and so buying another car is scary now haha x0

We might have had a kick for daddy. Well there was a kick, and OH hand there and he's almost convinced it was the bean not my muscles (ha, I WISH)0
-
Yay! Let him think it was
It took about half an hour of patience, but last night OH got a big kick right where his hand was, so that was definitely bean saying proper "Hello Daddy"!
Also had the 25 week appointment with the doctor yesterday, who was pleased to feel plenty of wriggling as he tried to get the heartbeat!0 -
He's sceptical sadly Firebird but at least he might have felt something- Bean's been hiding for him so far0
