Oh gosh! I'm glad your little girl is well and you're feeling better now too. How scary. Is there anything you can do if you get low blood pressure again Tinks?

If I feel like that again I've got to go back in. I'm hoping it's a one off though, I've had dizzy spells during pregnancy but a little sit down and a drink have sorted them out, and never had problems with low blood pressure before! I can't really complain, other than the sickness, I've had quite a smooth pregnancy so far *touch wood* and know lots of people are not that lucky!

Hopefully it was just a one off then Tinks, its so strange how much our bodies change, I have to remind myself to get up a bit more slowly too as I can get a bit dizzy if I rush up to fast!

But if dizziness and a bit of spotting is all I get I count myself lucky too really.

19 weeks today. Wow! x

glad to hear everythings ok and that its hopefully just a 1 off with your blood pressure

its amazing how quick the weeks are flying by! I counted how much longer I have left of work until I break up for maternity and its just over 15 weeks!!! our works policy states that we must start our leave at least 2 weeks before due date and I have 2 weeks holiday still to take which I'll add to the beginning of my leave so I'll be leaving at the beginning of December!!!

That sounds scary Tinks, glad everything is ok!

I've had such a busy few days with a wedding, an engagement party and then painting the nursery. Today we've barely moved from the sofa. Also in the last few days I've had so much movement from the baba, it feels really strange! Quite glad as I was getting worried that I was 20 weeks and hadn't felt any yet. Now it's non stop!

20 week scan tomorrow morning. Nervous and excited! Manc, you are tomorrow as well, aren't you! Can't wait to hear how you get on!

Hi All,

Just back from the scan and all was perfect - we are having a happy, healthy baby boy!

The scan itself was brilliant and we got to see so much - just an amazing experience, I didn't want it to end. We got all the measurements needed and everything looks normal - no need to go back.

Such an emotional day, we both shed some tears.

Glad it went well Manc! And congrats on your baby boy!

Ours went great too, everything perfect although we had to go away, eat something sugary and go back in half an hour as they couldn't see the spine properly. For a change baby was not moving!!! All good in the end though and agree, it was an amazing experience.

And we're having a girl! Went for lunch after and have now narrowed it down to two names we like - will make the final decision when we meet her!
