Hi all , hope your all having a good day. im glad to be feeling totally well again.
looking forward now to my 20 weeks anomaly scan on 6th July0 -
Hi to all the new people joining the thread, it's lovely to see so many of you from the previous ones.
I'm 17+5 today and thankfully the nausea wore off a little while ago. So now I am getting ravenous at times which makes a nice change from being unable to eat. However I'm still not keen on too much meat.
I felt the baby move a week ago which was lovely, and have felt fluttering whenever lying on my back since then. I can't wait for my anomaly scan as then I'll start buying things and redecorating the nursery, although we have most stuff from my daughter already. We'll be finding out the gender and I the moment I don't have a clue. However someone told me once that if you need to shave your legs more often it's a boy due to their testosterone affecting you. Anyone else noticed this?Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Not heard that one Kynthia but my mum was telling me some old wives tales that if you crave sweet food it's a girl, savoury it's a boy. Which definitely means I'm having a boy as all I want is crisps and bread!
I'm 13 weeks today and I am still absolutely shattered. Is that normal? Shouldn't I be getting a bit more energy soon? Honestly, I've barely moved off the sofa today and every time I try to do something I just get immediately tired and have to sit back down within a few mins!0 -
Just popping over to say I crave a lot of sweet stuff and am having a little boy! Some days I think back over what I've eaten and think oh dear, that was a lot of cake and chocolate!!
With regards to energy everyone is different but I found I didn't feel like I had any energy until I was about 16 or 17 weeks, but have felt much better since that point (well I have the odd day where a normally short walk leaves me absolutely knackered!!)so fingers crossed yours energy levels will pick up again soon.x0 -
Ha! Well that's that theory out the window! I'm definitely going to find out the sex at my next scan, I'm rubbish with surprises. Although I don't think we'll tell everyone, maybe just immediate family.
I really hope I do start to get more energy soon. I'm a runner and hoped I'd be able to run all through my pregnancy. Or until I got too big anyway! But I've not had the energy since about week 6!0 -
Pink petal I think it was about 16 weeks, we had been out for the day at the weekend, 2 days in a row and I suddenly realised I had got through the day without feeling so tired in the afternoon I could have slept. When I said it to DH, he said he had noticed the day before I didn't seem anywhere near as exhausted
you should start picking up energy soon!

We were going to keep the gender fairly quiet, but without even thinking I kept referring to baby as him so it gave it away.
As everyone knows we are having a boy we are however keeping the names to just ourselves so there is something to tell people when he has arrived!!0 -
Hi, I crave sweets things and I am having a girl 😃
Mind you I still crave sausage rolls and pork pies too 😂0 -
After being completely shattered yesterday I woke up this morning with some energy so we took advantage and went to a big Mamas and Papas store to have a look at prams and nursery furniture. Too early to buy but just to give us an idea. Furniture was fairy easy but prams.....oh my goodness it's a minefield. I'm so confused! How do you choose???0

Prams... Think of where you will use it (countryside? Towns?) how big is your car boot, do you want a travel system which will last longer, inflatable or solid wheels? What sort of price range are you looking at? Will you have a second child soon, maybe one that converts easily to a double?Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16
