This one. And Costco was the cheapest place I could find it.

Like prams, there is so much choice. But this looks sturdy, it converts to a toddler bed, has a height changing base, has the extra storage underneath and it has good reviews too.

There are many cot beds with the same criteria, in different styles and with different price tags though, so you may prefer something different.

    Hope that helps xxx

    Thank you :)

Congratulations LisaLou! I had a relative who found at at around 13 weeks. The plus side is you're past the most critical stage and hopefully will be able to relax once it's all sunk in and you know baby is doing well. Best of luck with your scan!

That's lovely news about a baby cousin psycho, there's the potential for them to grow up with a really close bond when they'll be so close together :)

Bought a ton of stuff at Aldi. Big boxes of baby wipes, nappy sacks, baby bouncer, safety gates, muslin cloths, hooded towels, changing mats and a carrier.

Really good value stuff! Was half the price of other places online. Good quality to, the gates are really solid and the carrier feels really comfy and well padded.
    Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

    Savings target June 18 - £22,281.99 / £25,000

Sadly we live 500 miles away from his
Family but hopefully we can make sure they are close :)

Sounds like you got some great buys Freddie.

I have woken up with a stitch like pain in my left side, really hoping it eases soon as I have stuff to get on with today!!

Has anyone ever used the Emma diaries weekly deals? I've noticed a couple of good buys on there that I'm tempted to order.

    Hope everyone is ok.xx
  • I meant to mention Emma's diary and forgot. I registered the card I got from my midwife with Emma's diary. Got the magazines and bag. But when we were in Hawaii I was getting loads of missed calls in the night. I did a who calls me on them and the answers were a little scary.
A few different people saying it was Emma's diary and they out you on a list to be sent books every week. And if you don't pay to return them you get charged for them. Sounded dodgy to me, so I logged in and changed my phone number and address to a line of random numbers and letters. Not heard from them since. Been a little wary since that happened.
I still visit the site. But that's about as much as I'll have to do with them.
Don't know if anyone else got those calls or not. I should have left a number missing from my phone number to start with!

Hope the pain has gone. Is it in your side and low, down to your groin? Like a shooting pain? I get those if I move suddenly in the night or sneeze. Feels like I'm ripping. So sore. It's the ligaments stretching to make more room for the bump the midwife says. Sadly got to get used to it. :( suppose there's worse to come.

Yes. That's where the pain is. If I walk about its or or if I sit still ok it's the getting up or bending that hurts.

Oh really. I'll bear that in mind if I register on there then.

Yeah, Emma's diary pass your details onto some book selling company. I just answered and said no thanks, please remove me from your list etc. Haven't heard from them since.

Round ligament pain is annoying. I found it eased up for weeks and then started up again randomly recently. Those sneezes are the worst. You're like 'everything's fine lalala. Aahh-choo. ARGHHHHH! !!!!!!?!' lol thankfully it never seems to last all that long.

Luckily the pain eased as I moved about. I've had other pains which I put down to round ligament pain, but this was much more intense, maybe it was as it in a slightly different place to previous occasions.

Bumped into my mum and Nan today when I was shopping and they both commented that I'm definitely starting to show now (my mum even touched my bump, but she's allowed, it's most other people I don't feel comfortable with randomly touching it!!). Roll on Friday when I will then tell everyone else who doesn't know!!!

There was a really good deal on muslins in Emma diary if anyone got them in also how much were they and for how many?x

    Baffled by travel systems.

There are so many variants even within the same brand. It's hard to tell the differences without seeing them in the flesh.

Spotted the Hauck ones as they are sub £300 but look quite good. Like the Viper (3 wheel) or Lacrosse ones.

I was originally looking at some of the Graco ones as one of them were very highly rated online but less than £150. However it's fixed and only possible to have rear facing when the child is sitting in the car seat.

These Hauck ones come with car seats and travel cots which can be attached to the frame separately from the pram seat. Which we prefer. Also the Hauck Lacrosse's pram seat can also be reversed.

There's just so bloomin' many of the darn things to look at! But not just spending money for the sake of it. We want the best one you can get for the money and really want to be spending less than £300.

I'm just trying to get a list together of possibilities and then hope we can find some of those in stock somewhere to look at in the flesh.
