I think I have my first craving. Trifle. I wanted some like crazy the other day after not having one in years, got three mini ones. Lovely. Not got them out of my head since. Went to the shop and got a giant 6 person trifle. Erm..it's gone. Definitely not 6 person. One and a bit. Very yummy. I want another.
Being kicked to bits. But I think that's unrelated to trifle, as she's been really going at it since Friday now.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120 -
I totally get the trifle craving, I keep having to buy the multi packs of three, I wouldn't buy a big one as it would all be gone in one sitting!!! Oh annoyed me the other day..... He ate one of my trifles!! I was not impressed!!! Haha.0

Had the worst morning sickness this morning!! I haven't really had much sickness (apart from the sickness bug I caught!!!) So was very surprised to be so sick this morning, no idea why I was, but hoping it was just a one off!!
It feels like this week is going slowly, I just want it to 've Friday 29th so I can have my scan!!!
How is everyone?x0 -
Morning all, I'm 12 weeks tomorrow I think and had my scan yesterday. All was well
I guess now we need to start actually buying things and preparing ourselves! I have been very lucky and not had any sickness, until this morning... So I hope that's a one off!!

Congratulations Lucy
Welcome psycho nice to see you on here, glad to hear scan went well.
ThinkPink My OH had her first sickness one morning a week ago having had none before or since. So hopefully it was just a one off for you too. It is nasty though.
The soundproofing materials are arriving tomorrow. I spent yesterday clearing and reorganising the shed so I could transfer things from the garage into it. Need the garage to store the materials while I'm working.
Once I've finished the room we will be having our garage converted. So lots going on at the moment.

Hope the sickness was a one off, unfortunately for me my sickness started at 13-14 weeks and just escalates all the way until birth. But I'm probably just a freak lol0

Congratulations Lucy! We've got lots of boys on the way between us.
Welcome over Psycho, glad everything went well at your scan.
It sounds like you've got a busy weekend ahead Freddie
I'm starting to get used to having a little bump now. I'm still eating loads. I feel like I need to have something at least every couple of hours, though I don't seem to be putting on much weight so it must be just what my body is needing.
Have you tried having something carb-y before bed to see if it will help with the morning sickness? The only time I've felt a bit iffy is when I've had an empty stomach.0 -
I had slight sickness in the first 12 weeks, but this time it was proper sickness, strange to randomly appear at 19 weeks though!!
I think I am getting a bump, I think as I look every day it doesn't feel like its growing but ivevhad comments from those who do know that it's starting to show now!!
I have to confess I stropped a little bit at the rac today as I had to call them out for a puncture and was like I'm 19 weeks pregnant I really dont want to wait that long, with the mention of being pregnant I got put as a priority!! I tell you what though, I'm cursed I've had two punctures in the last week!!0 -

This bump now has more clothes than I do! In all sizes up to 9 months, so all bases are covered. Get all giddy looking at how cute and tiny they are. We've got the first of the car seats but not the second yet. Got a few other big items but mostly got the smaller bits so far, snuggle blanket toy and matching rattles and teethers, nappy wrapper bin, blankets, bath, bath seat, more baby oil, lotions, creams, wipes and shampoos than I think we'll ever need, Moses basket and liners, blankets..etc.
We have a list of abiut 60 things we need to get which is a good few grand. And then there's carpet, paint, curtains and everything else for the nursery.
I'd like to think we thought of most things, but I bet we've missed so much too. But even if we get her home and realize we have. We will hopefully have the things we need til we can get to a shop.
Crazy how much they need. Even with people saying half of it you don't actually need and will never use.
A few grand?!?! Jesus! I just can't see how unless you're going for one of the most expensive buggies there is? Honestly, that seems a lot
Very happily married on 10th April 2013
