She had her first actual morning sickness this morning. Hope it's a one off. Felt queasy during breakfast and then toothbrushing brought it on.
Still felt queasy during the day poor thing, she ate her lunch and dinner fine though.
Had a fun time cleaning the sink before work!
I'm not even remotely squeamish. I'm sure that'll come in handy with the baby!Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

It's like someone flipped my movement switch this weekend because she really hasn't stopped! I'd only been feeling occasional kicks and mostly on my left but ever since Friday night I've had it all over and multiple times during the day too which is lovely.
Midwife tomorrow and time to tell her I'm refusing my gd test, bet that will go down well, maybe I'll remind her at the same time that there's no ' criteria ' for a homebirth.... She seemed to think there was last time :rotfl:

Exciting about the movement jtr!
Scan tomorrow. I don't felt scared today, I think everything will be fine. OH nervous, but I think it'll always be a mix of excitement and fear when going for the scans and checkups.
I'm looking forward to it, and hope we get some good pictures to take home again. Love the last ones.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

Fingers crossed you do get some decent scan pics, unfortunately for our 20 week scan our little one was moving about so much we didn't get a good pic! It's ok as we've got a few pictures, and we weren't charged for those. We've also got some good ones from the first scan so not all together that bothered.
Hope all goes well!0 -
Was unsuccessful at trying to convince oh we should have a gender scan on Saturday. So I have to be patient and wait another two weeks!! I've decided I'll use the money for a nice pregnancy massage instead. I'm getting quite bad lower back pain, I look like I'm about 80 when I got up, especially up off my work chair or the sofa!! So I'll ring up tomorrow to see when I can get booked in, was just going to get a 25 min back massage but can have a 55 massage for not much more money!!
Started to think about all the things we need to buy, the list feels like it's going to be huge!!!
Hope everyone is ok.xx0 -
I know ThinkPink there's so much to buy! Once I've got the room sorted we can start buying things.
I know how you feel about wanting extra scans. I'm sure one they say they will have small handheld u/s scanners that you can use at home and stream to your TV or tablet to see what's going on in there.
Seeing the scans is so brilliant, you want to be able to see the baby all the time!

Scan at three. Can't believe I'm half way there. Gone fast but slow too!
Just got to hope this one agrees with the last that she is a girl! If they disagree and say boy we are stuck.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120 -
I think if they say boy crazy-cat-lady then it probably is a boy. Seems to be more likely for a supposed girl to turn out to a be a boy than the other way around.
good luck with the scan!Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

Thanks.
They were pretty certain it was a girl. I'm being paranoid now we've started buying things. That's all. But this is why we held off on the decorating til after today. As long as they agree it's a girl we can get the nursery done!Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120 -
