Gelly.. glad to hear all is still going well..
I've never been away without children.. I may be a little bit jealous.. I get 4 days at the inlaws next week.. if I can manage that long.. I rather want to just kill people so taking me anywhere is a bit risky
My brain-to-mouth filter has totally gone.. And his sister is beyond annoying sometimes.. I am not going to be popular.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
We were so happy we did an all inclusive honeymoon just before we conceived - we probably won't get away for another 5 years on our own!

The nurse in work checked my BP today as my colleague was worried about me having headaches. BP is ok but my pulse was very high (113). Nurse said I should maybe go see GP about it. Earliest I can get GP appt for is Monday morning, should I ring midwife? Is it something to worry about? Headache is going, but numb leg is back!* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

If in doubt, call the midwife and ask. I find I generally get a quicker answer than if I tried to contact GP about something. She will able to say whether it's nothing, you need to see her, or you should definitely see GP.
I called my local midwife led unit on Saturday as I'd had my anti-d injection on the Friday afternoon, and came down with a cold only a few hours later. I wanted to make sure they were unrelated and not part of the possible reaction they worry about. They were very nice, and able to put my mind at rest.
Worrying about it will only see your BP go up, and possibly raise your HR even more. So, best to just make a quick call to put your mind at rest.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

high pulse rate is often linked to anaemia... I can hear mine in my ears and it is racing! .. my Hb was 9.1 in December.. I dread to think what it might be now.
Headache by itself is nothing to worry about.. it could be anything at all.. thenumb leg is still probably the baby laid on a nerve..
I think you might survive until Monday bu if you are concerned ring the midwife if you think anything she can say will reassure you... it is their job after all!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Thanks Euronorris.
I rung MW. She wasn't concerned, told me to monitor it and if I get breathless or vision issues with headache to call immediately. Glad I rang.
Managed a chilled out afternoon in work. Last weds of the month we have lockdown (I work in a prison) for training. But today my unit had a family day so I went down there and did nothing except eat a cupcake and chat with people!* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

So it became apparent I had a horrid stomach bug and couldn't keep anything at all down for almost 24hours. Ended up at the gp this morning as oh was so worried about me being dehydrated so they did some tests and as I was dehydrated gave me some anti sickness tablets and told me to go back again the afternoon for a retest. I managed to keep everything down, but when I went back they were pretty sure i also have a uti so I now have antibiotics for that too. Was grateful for my excemption card today!!0

Gelly - I'm so jealous of your hols! Glad you enjoyed. I'd give anything for a week of sunshine before baby comes but we can't justify the costI may have a look at a cheap Sun newspaper holiday not too far away and pray for sunshine!
