Thanks for the suggestions, the problem I have is I'm only 5ft so need short leg, or petite, I've just seen Asos do a petite maternity range, but no smart trousers.

How do the bras come up size wise? I'm an e cup normally and need a really supportive bra, I also have really small shoulders so need a bra with straps that can be adjusted the full length of the strap, not just half the straps like a lot of bras have!!.

I need to prioritise finding bras I think, whilst I would like trousers I can get away with dress and tights/ leggings for work.
  • The bras might come up a bit small for you cup wise - I was previously a B/C cup and now I guess I might be a D, and I've got the XL bras (but that is probably more to do with the band size for me, I'm a 38 now I think). However saying that it might be worth a punt from Amazon as they are easily returned.

The straps can be extended the full length of the strap and the bra is reasonably supportive - they have extra pads which are fairly thick and are removable for washing.

    Hope this helps!
  • I got bras very similar. Are those the ones that unclip for nursing later? The ones I got do. Got them in the hope that I might not grow too much and end up with beach balls. I found some that went in actual sizes rather than S/M/L. I was an E before, so for now I've bought an F and they're fine.
Got to get some new maternity pants soon. I have the same problem as you ThinkPink, I'm a shortie at 5 foot 1, so most things trail on the floor for me. For the first few months I bought jeans in larger sizes. I was a size 12, so I got a few 14 and a few 16, but now am needing something better fitting. So I'll be checking those out too. Everyone tells me to not bother and wear leggings too, but I'm not too comfy with that idea. Unless I'm wearing something really long over.

  • Yep, they're the ones that can unclip for nursing.

I just looked at New Look, they have quite a good range of maternity clothing, there might be something there that's suitable trousers wise?

think.. I'm not quite 5ft 3 and get next long trousers... their regular ones shrink loads and end up half mast!!

Asos stuff is stupidly huge.. I cant wear anything from there without taking it up about 10 inches.. and I'm not even joking they seem to think everyone is 7ft 6!!

Blooming Marvellous (stocked at mothercare) Dorothy Perkins and Mothercare are really short sizes too.. I can't wear most of their stuff either.

I'm currently listing all my maternity stuff on ebeast.. I have 5 dresses I can wear and thats it all my jeans and skirts and summery stuff is being listed.

Bras.. figleaves.. I have After Eden and Panache bras.. from 34DD up to 36G .. I have tiny shoulders so these and the royce ones are the only ones that dont slide off my shoulders... and they do Quidco and always have offers/vouchers running. Their returns and exchanges are free and delivery is superquick! I buy several different bras.. try them on and send back to exchange what doesn't fit or for a refund! Saves uncomfortable trips into town and getting your norks out in public!

Do you have a link for the bras?

I'm the same, I only wear leggings with dresses or long tunic tops. I'm happy to wear dresses for work most days but I would like at least one pair of trousers for work as I can then wear them when I go out for meetings with a smart top.

These are the make I ordered. But I got two for that price and can't find that listing anymore. I might have bought the last of them as they were being sold by a marketplace seller and not Amazon.

Maybe worth trying eBay ThinkPink? I'm usually Next Petite too and bought a pair of maternity petite jeans for very little on there. Lots of new things popping up every day.

I booked our private gender scan today for a few weeks time. Our hospital has a no gender telling policy and whilst we have no preference we're both just really curious, and I want to know as much about this little person as possible!

Ah Becky it's a pity your hospital won't tell you but glad you got a private scan sorted.

Finally got 2 nights sleep in a row that was half decent! 23 weeks now so will be graduating to the big girl thread after this!

I've been living in leggings ATM, think I've got enough maternity wear to sort me through the summer as I've lots of big shorts, skirts etc

I'm 23 weeks today too :D. Think I finally felt a kick last night! But I have had 2 nights crap sleep :( Sunday night my hips were hurting in bed despite having a pregnancy pillow between legs. Last night I put a spare duvet on bed too and used the pillow, so my hips didn't hurt so much but I just could not drop off to sleep.
