Flutterby I've been feeling proper kicks now for about 3 weeks but they are much stronger this week.

I haven't been sleeping great at all hence my surprise at 2 nights were I only woke once :D I've a pregnancy pillow, we named it :) it's literally no good!

Hey. Not feeling well today so not gone to work. Feeling and being sick every time I move, so I'm opting to say as still as possible!! I've not really had much sickness until this so it's come as a bit of a surprise.

Tata - I haven't felt much movement at all yet! But I am on the bigger side so that's probably why. I've had some popping sensations for the last 2weeks, and yesterday it felt like a prickling sensation in the day. OH joked that I am incubating a hedgehog :rotfl:. But last night in bed, it definitely felt like an actual kick :D.

ThinkPink - hope you feel better soon, rest up. Try to drink lots though.

Thanks flutter. I'm trying to drink but I'm not sure how much is staying down!! I've come back up to bed, but the annoying thing is we are decorating our bedroom so are in the spare room so it's boring in here with no tv and we only have the sofa bed til our new bed arrives next week.

I'm wondering if I have a bug!! I haven't had a sickness bug in years but as I've hardly had any sickness so far and am now 16 weeks, could I go from minimal sickness to all day sickness, I guess I'll have to see how the next few days go!!

Hope you feel better soon Thinkpink! Being sick sucks

Flutterby, I've really weak abdominal muscles so I'm assuming that's why I've felt baby move so much!

Hubby helped make the dinner tonight ;) in turn, I will tell him where the chocolate is...
Did yoga today, noticed my stretching is slowly improving. Looking forward to my next class as I've been missing the gym

I'm 16+6 and last week and a half I've been more travel sick than I was before.

I think the shift in your centre of gravity as bump pops up and gets bigger, changes things. I get a bit dizzy just turning my head to look at things to my side etc

tata - I've been meaning to go to pregnancy yoga for weeks, but it's at 6pm on a Friday night for 90mins (and £2 a class despite it being in my gym where every other class is free!) and TBH after a full week in work it's the last thing I fancy on a Friday night! :rotfl:

Came home with a big headache again yesterday. My boss is off and I had some of her work to do, and then my colleague was unexpectedly off so I had her jobs to do too! They are both off next week too so I am on my own for 2 weeks straight now! Luckily managed to shift the headache with a million glasses of water and a nap. But it's slowly coming back now :(.

But I did have a wonderful night's sleep last night :j I felt so comfy, only got up once for the loo and was toasty warm cos I spooned OH for most of the night!

    Hi all, hope you're well?

Flutterby - sorry to hear you're not sleeping well, same here despite having the dream genii pillow but I'm finding my hips are starting to ache each day now - can't imagine it getting much better to be honest but hope it does for you and glad you had a good nights sleep last night - it can make such a difference!

Tata - love the way you bargained with your husband for help with dinner over chocolate - that made me giggle.

Sorry I've not been around much - I've been checking in every now and then but not had masses of time to actually post.

I'm currently 24+5 - still can't believe we've got this far. We had another scan yesterday and little lady is a wiggler - baby on the right, fluid on the left and head down for the scan so the sonographer had to move the scanner around quite a lot. All measurements are good but belly is measuring about a week ahead but still within normal range so nothing to worry about. I guess it might be because I've finally stopped being sick about 2 weeks ago and am eating a bit better.

We were a bit naughty recently and booked a last minute break to the canaries - got back early hours of last Thursday and so glad we went away - our last holiday as a couple before little one arrives.

I guess, I will need to move onto the final thread soon - doesn't feel quite real as I always dreamed of getting to this thread. So scary and still not entirely sure this is really happening to us!

Hope you're all looking after yourselves?

Flutterby - I always end up being late to my classes, it's hilarious.

Gelly, glad to hear everything is going well for you, I'm not planning on going away anywhere now until after baby is born. We are planning a night or two away in a hotel before baby comes somewhere near just to get away.

Got kitchen tiles regrouted this morning. I'm a grumpy !!! as they woke me up and I didn't get much sleep last night. Least the kitchen is looking a lot better now, Hubby will be happy. I've some new bits to get for the house yet so I'll need to make a list and get cracking.
