  • Anyone else just feel fed up some days? God the hormones - in one way I wish I wasn't the first out of my close girl friends who is pregnant. They honestly don't get it some days.

One of the girls said 'oh well your not the first woman to ever get pregnant' - !!!!ing charming. I know I'm not but can one not have a moan about feeling like crap every now and again?

    Meh!

This week is going exceedingly slow...

Not much happening here apart from the fact I can't get comfy in bed and my sleep is so interrupted.

23+ 5 and I am starting to feel kicks a wee bit more now. She is wide awake kicking just now!
  • Yes tata, every minor dilemma I've faced this week I've cried at. Hubby is just glad he isn't the cause of the tears :D:D Water is not rolling off this duck's back at the moment!

Yeah. I threw a complete hissy fit last night because DH and his friend decided to talk through the last 5 minutes of the walking dead. Cue shouting from me, trying to rewind slightly, messing it up completely and then storming off for a wee.

DH was smart enough to sort out the programme before I came back, bless him. Slight overreaction on my part! Whoops!

    What is it with inlaws????

OH told his mother today (she is here and its a bit big to hide!! lol) .. anyway ... she suggests Joseph .. the name of my cousins son... then she suggests Jo.. Jo !!!!!!!!! the name of OH's dead ex who drank herself to death.. seriously!! (I get !!!!!! off about here!) .. Sam she says.. my grandson is Samuel!!.. and for good measure.. William.. OH's cousins son.. I suggest she leaves choosing names to us.. and as it's a girl none of those names would suit anyway.. For the love of chickens... I need a bloody big vodka with a dash of lemonade!!

There.. am I up to date on rants??? lol

I think we are all hormonal crazy mamas!!

    Hey pigpen

Just wanted to say thanks for introducing the carbs app. Its really helped me to figure out where i was going wrong. For the last 5 five days my readings have not been above 7.8. Feel alot better about it now that i am able to control it. I have a appt on Thursday and hopefully i wont need to go on to tabs.

My absolute pleasure.. it is a fabulous little app :)

I have a perfect little person growing according to the scan.. I have a sealed envelope with the gender.. and I am not opening it.. I know what it is and I don't want confirmation.

The sonographer has also binned my 12 week scan pic I think.. :(

  • Hi everyone. Just got pointed in the direction of this thread and thought i'd have a read and join in.

I'm 12 weeks. Got my scan early tomorrow morning. Also had one privately last week as suddenly all the nausea, pains and aches stopped and we were having a bit of a panic..despite the midwife and internet searches saying not to. Got a little wave from the bump and heard the heartbeat and felt ok again.

This will be our first. Had a few heartbreaks in the past. That's why the big panic. But, fingers crossed everything going ok so far this time. So this is all very new and scary!
