20 week scan came through. Eek.
I just reorganised the list so it was in order. Hope I didn't miss anything. I'm a wee bit anal like that. :rotfl:0 -
Hi everyone
Had my 2nd scan last friday. All looks normal , baby responded really well. So pleased. Still haven't brought anything, going to look at some prams and car seats in the sale although I do feel a little lost with it all especially with how many bottles and which steriliser to buy. There are so many to choose from. I cant believe i'm half way already. Its pretty scary but soooo excited aswell. Hope everyone is doing well.0 -
Khal glad the scan went well. We're going to be looking in the sales for a double pushchair as well, but I'm tempted to wait till after my 20 week scan.0

Glad to hear it all went well.
I don't feel half as ready as I was with my first at this point but have managed to buy a pram and a couple of sleepsuits. Still need a carseat too but will be looking in the sales after Christmas0 -
hey guys, this is my first one so i need so much. I have been given a cot bed from my sister so just need to buy a mattress for it and some padding i think. I nearly brought a electric breast pump from Amazon it was £49.99, i wasn't sure and now the price have gone up to £70 odd, typical. Might just opt for a bottle and sterilizer starter kit as it seems it has everything with it. I'm starting to panic a little now lol.
I am 20 weeks today!!! Haven't had to buy any pregnancy clothes yet, just gone up to size 12. I' assuming i will start to get bigger faster now.0 -
Wow Khal, you're lucky! I was already a size 14 to begin with, and at 14 weeks, my clothes have been getting increasingly tight around the waistband for the last couple of weeks lol. Just trying to hold out now until the January sales! lol
I've been looking at electric breast pumps too. Online reviews seem to suggest that the Medela Swing is a good one, but it's pretty pricey. Maybe it'll be in the January sales too.
We haven't really bought anything yet either. My sister has passed some stuff onto my Mum to bring up with her when she visits, including a body pillow, chair, some bottles, steriliser etc etc. And my parents want to buy the pram. DH's Mum has been buying little bits and pieces ever since she found out.
Oh, and last night was lovely. DH's Dad called and is now getting super excited about being a granddad! He didn't seem too fussed when we first told him. I think he was in shock, but he's really excited nowFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
We haven't bought anything yet, will wait until after 20 week scan. It's a minefield and I really don't know what we actually need!
Arrived home last night to a Christmas Card from DH parents with a cheque in it for a four figure sum. Unbelievable and has really helped put me at ease with money worries. We are getting a new kitchen in February and this will help pay for it. We are so lucky.0 -
Everything was well with the scan yesterday. Babies are perfect and we got to see faces so clearly!
We also found out we're having two girls! So surprised but very excited!
Full of cold today. My boss keeps calling it the flu but I would hope that 3 weeks between the flu jab and now means it's not!Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Glad the scan went well, and so exciting that you're having two girls! Congratulations!
Sadly the flu jab doesn't protect you from all flu viruses out there. There are just too many to cover in one jab. BUT, I would say that if you are in the office, you probably don't have flu. I've only ever had it 2 or 3 times in my life and I literally could not get out of bed, and my fever was so high I was hallucinating etc.
If you're feeling rotten though, you've probably got a nasty cold which is just horrid. I hope you're feeling better soon xFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0
