Hi people just had my financial difficulty claim for bank charges refused for 2100 pounds worth of charges which i thought was harsh as july last year i turned down 1600 they offered in favour for asking for more. only wanted their original offer honoured as moving house in 3 weeks and no deposit money yet, i am now in arrears with them and rent, and they have put my move in doubt, could be homeless any advice? they say case is lifted 26 of this month are we all expecting a decision this soon ??

A quick question (maybe stupid I know!)
but, in court terminology, what exactly does for judgment mean? My understanding was the phrase meant 'final decision'
Is this correct and if so, does this mean we will know if we can claim again?0

            Hi all
Yesterday's judgement was to decide if some of the banks terms and conditions could be classed as a penalty. Most were decided back in October that they were not penalties and it seems that Justice Smith has now decided that the remaining terms are also not penalties, barring those of Natwest in 2001.
The decision is not too important at this stage to be honest. More important is the imminent decision from the Court of Appeal. Details on this will be in the News Article and weekly email as soon as we know more.
Also today's news is that the FSA Waiver had been extended for a further six months. *** Get the Martin's Money Tips Free E-mail at www.moneysavingexpert.com/tips ***0 *** Get the Martin's Money Tips Free E-mail at www.moneysavingexpert.com/tips ***0
