Clearing the freezer for Christmas

Have taken 3 salmon fillets out of the freezer this evening. Putting them in a roasting bag with some dill and lemon, serving with green veg (also taken from freezer) and roast potatoes.
Also took out some frozen fruit and have started making the crumble using Flo's recipe. Cant believe i haven't done a crumble before, it took about 5 mins to make it and put in the oven!0 -
I have taken out some frozen fruit for breakfast, and two teacakes, and 1 pint of milk.0

Bread/crumbs: good in meatballs. Left over roast lamb, stale/ frozen bead moistened to soften then squeezed to extract water plus a beaten egg to bind. I bake in oven rather than fry but either is fine and serve with tomato sauce and a green veg. have taken a portion of HM yellow split pea & ham soup and a portion of HM
savoury mince out of freezer
but added 2 portions of pulled pork in foil trays which i'll make into fake shepherds pie and 4 bread buns0 -
just took a look in the freezer....luckily going to my mums for Christmas as still have over 2 and a half shelves of the 4 full of bags sliced runner beans from the allotment....I've heard of bumper crop but this lot will last me until next season!
