Jealous! Hubby's favourite is the glazed cruller and mine is chocolate with creme (not custard) filling.
Hope you are having a great trip!
Never made it to KK, trip gambling wise has been a disaster, seriously thinking of calling it a day, we have lost big every single session.
Nascar was fun yesterday and HOT...I did win 30 dollars backing the winner (harvick).
Now at Rio in a 1600 sq ft suite it is awesome0 -
We're doing 3 nights at Luxor with MyVegas in May. Is your room ok? We have never stayed there. I'm sure it is supposed to be a Pyramid Room, wondering if we should try to upgrade or try $20 trick? We probably won't spend much time in the room anyway, as it's only 3 nights plus we'll have a car those days so will be out and about, as well as trying to cram in some MyVegas buffets. :j
You get the 2 queens pyramid room with my Vegas, I tried to upgrade to a suite in the pyramid with $20 but they didn't have any left she did offer me a suite in the tower but not sure if it was going to cost me as I said I wanted to stay in pyramid just to say we have. She did then say we could have a king on the 5th floor or 2 queens on the 24th we chose the 24 th. The room was ok, I would def take the tower upgrade if I went again tho0 -
@ Photome
When you did your car with Alamo, were you trying to upgrade at the main front desk, or with a guy in the garage area (or booth in the garage) ???
Although I don't have a booking at LAS, I got my SUV rental booked with Alamo for LAX, and the plan is to get a Full size/Prem SUV, for either slipping a garage guy $20 or paying at the booth (i'll use the kiosks so I don't have to see the front desk, as I hear front desk staff are Not the best to try and upgrade with ?????)
I check in online with Alamo insiders so no need to even go to the booth, we go straight to the guy in the garage, I offered her the $20 she just laughed and then said we do hav this charger which wasn't in the standard line of full size cars.. I am happy with it, it is 300 HP almost0 -

TIA
Have you checked summer of cirque or a variation of that for booking direct.
We did that one year and got $ 50 tats for Ka
For Love we went straight to the box office on the day and asked if they had any discounted tickets and got 2 at the same ( or similar) price to those at the disc booths, the advantage was we didn't have to go to the booths and then box office to get seats0 -

I booked our tix for LOVE via a 40% discount link on smartervegas last week. It seemed to be the cheapest at the time, mainly because I wanted to get seats booked now rather than get them via the bogof myvegas offer and wait till we get there to get the tickets.0 -

Sorry the gambling is not going your way...and hope that it turns around.
Glad NASCAR was good at least - did you eat much fair food? That was my favourite part about NASCAR.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Like you I also want to stay in the Pyramid for the experience of it, but from reviews the tower is better. I might try for the Pyramid Suite and see how it goes. Did they decline your $20 when they weren't able to help?
I also read somewhere that you get some coupons when checking in - did you get them?
Hope you have better luck with the gambling.0 -
We stayed in Pyramid suite, although the room is showing its age the bed was comfy. Our major gripe was we had a low floor so has nightclub noise for two nights! We loved the casino at Luxor though.0
