as for Luxor, we stayed in a pyramid spa suite and enjoyed the general pyramid thing, but would go for a tower if we stayed there again...it was novel but for us it was a been there, done that thing now...I remember the room being quite dark due to the tint on the windows which isn't a big deal but I remember it.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

Heads up if you have any points in the IHG hotel loyalty scheme. Redemption discount available for the next 24 hours for Palazzo / Venetian:

Like you I also want to stay in the Pyramid for the experience of it, but from reviews the tower is better. I might try for the Pyramid Suite and see how it goes. Did they decline your $20 when they weren't able to help?
I also read somewhere that you get some coupons when checking in - did you get them?
Hope you have better luck with the gambling.
Yes there was a voucher book but we didn't use any.
Gambling? Slightly better in that my wife broke even yesterday!!!0 -

Oh dear! Don't think I've ever seen that happen. I have seen a line of people waiting to use it though, so probably not unusual.0

You could always try Tony's method of gambling. You wouldn't lose too much then. ;-)0
