The bit to be careful about is that the UK to Dublin is a seperate ticket so if you were delayed and missed your connection at Dublin you wouldn't be protected so it is wise to allow plenty of time between flights -but if a night in Dublin works for you Temple Bar is prime stag night location anyway)
Theres a free shuttle to the Holiday Inn Express and Crowne Plaza from the airport every 20 mins or so. Its about €20 from there to Temple Bar.

Theres similar to a large Premier Inn I believe but never tried it.....from memory its right by a Casino.

quick myvegas question... if you play on a pc and iphone do the rewards both add to your account? i seem to have different numbers on the pc one and the phone based one

Your playing chips will be unique but your gold LP's (the rewards chips) should sync. with facebook. Check the LP value matches :)

We stayed in the White Star which was in the city (right opposite Connolly railway station )and they had a cheap shuttle to the airport that started very early although you had to prebook. It wasn't super luxury but it was clean and reasonable

Just booked our week long trip for November this year, £747.98 per person, direct flight and a suite in the MGM grand signature. Pretty pleased with this! Also booked our seats figured its worth the £25 charge to sit where we want and together with our friends!

Will be popping on regularly to express this bubble of excitement!

holy crap that's a good price!

    Car Insurance Carver!
Booked using Barclays as I will also get £149.75 cash back after we get back, booked through Expedia, some really great offers, Luxor was £650 but we felt like the suite was well worth the extra dosh! Glad its as good as I thought! Know the weather isnt great but that doesnt really matter, bad weather in vegas has to be better than here!

Not played Myvegas, might have a nosy though!

Is there a best time to book hotels and parking? We are flying from Gatwick which is 3 and a half hours away so that would make more sense for us!

Getting excited as i ve booked up for new york(for 3 days) and onto vegas for 10 nights in 21weeks and 2 days !!

with thanks to secretmachines for starting the thread and the info!

A question if i may in regards i think the myvegas rewards thing..As i gather its a feacebook slot machine type thing where the more you play and the more you *win* and the more you win the more credits you get and when you reach a certian level/get enough credits you can exchange them.

I feel my brother and I should be doing this.

    Is it easy to do?
is exchanging the points/credits easy to do?
how do you exchange the points/credits?

im not much of a *facebooker* and if getting a couple of free buffets would be on offer via this way, i d be happy to try

I hope my questions are not daft!

we would be staying at the mgm!

Myself and my OH have just redeemed our rewards for our trip next month and the total cost of everything in cash would have been just over £600.
    Thank you all who post.
