Odds are they aren't full but haven't released allocations so far ahead yet.
I really wouldn't let that stop you booking- you'll get a deal at an airport hotel -just keep an eye on kayak til prices come out

I was thinking it was odd too...

Brats - you may benefit from waiting too, as you might catch a rate released in the 'spring sale' :) I'm sure Dub Premier inn only cost us e39 a night for a July Friday night :)

Both those hotels are unavailable for the night we want.

I've check the IHG hotels in Dublin ad they all have the 1-3rd with no availability.
Other nights before\after these dates are OK (IHG lets you book 11months in advance)
So maybe there's somethin going on in Dub at that time?

Can only find the Fringe Festival that starts ont he 5th Sept

Whoops, sorry. I only ever saw that bus, never got on it. Always get the IHG bus to the Crowne Plaza myself :rotfl:

I do that at LAX, get on the first free shuttle that goes near the hotel I am staying at
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I've stayed at City hotel North before in Dublin. Very nice hotel, quite a way out but along the motorway so the free transfer bus gets you there in 10 minutes

I remember a couple of years ago they had some worldwide or European Crowne Plaza convention for owners/operators at CP Northwood. They block booked out CP/HIX Northwood and CP Blanch and had no paying customers for those days. Maybe they're doing it again...... and now theyve also got the IC Dublin to block out.

I ended up in the Hilton which was miles away.

    Sup peeps :)
Wifey given me the go-ahead to book flights, typically the cost has gone up since I found the super deal!
Think I need to book tonight also, if what I see on Lastminute.com is correct (shows available seats)... as might miss out, etc

Flight from DUB-LAS , and then rtn flight is DUB-LGW , then LHR-DUB, with us skipping the LHR-DUB flight..... Flight is £370
Found a B&B lodge for £65 2 miles from airport (Glenshandan Lodge) as its a Saturday night we would need to stay.....
As a few of u said, fly early so we can see a bit of Dublin, eat out, etc, so will do that...
Ryanair flight from LGW to DUB is like £28 + £25 for a 20kg bag I think....

Although I cant use my Mlife offers I don't think just yet, am sure based on the 14 nights worth in different hotels I got now (comp'd), hopefully these offers will be still be there next year so I can book us in as soon as......
As long as I book tonight, for a 15 night trip, the flight(s) will cost £420 ish each..... That's defo a super money saving bash, and worth jumping through hoops!
As others said, we can collect our bags when we land back in the UK due to the airport change, so good to know we can go home without going to Dublin ! :)

and nvh, Prem Inn is £39 on all nights but Saturday ! its like £109 on the Sat, Grrrrrr !!

I've stayed at the North Star before now. In the city opposite Connolly station not the poshest of areas but usually a deal to be had and shuttle starting mega early to the airport for very few Euros. Five mins walk to the nicest shops and tram stop right outside. Handy if you want to do stuff in the city rather Han hang out on the Northside.

Bewleys at the airport is nice and often cheap.

    14 nights?

I got so excited when I checked hubby's account earlier as he had an offer for Aria for 2 nights with some freeplay and resort credit and we really, really want to stay at Aria...but it appears that it's not available for any combination of dates in March that might work...so disappointed.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I got the host at Monte who offered me 5 nights anyway if I contact her directly which is cool :)
but yeah, when I log into Mlife right now, it offers me 2 comp nights in MGM/M Bay/Delano/Monte/Exal/Lux/Mirage.....
Then I got an offer for 4 nights in Lux, 3 in Mirage, then 3 nights Suite in Monte, 2 nights Exal and 2 nights in NYNY (never stayed in MGM, excel or NYNY or Delano)

So yeah, my fingers will stay crossed that these offers come next year or when I can book them... Not bad offers mind! :D
Now to take the plunge and book leap-frog flights!
