I need to work out the myvegas room offers thing! I sort of wonder if we'll be able to get a room for half our stay using our points. I love freebies!

Do any of the hotels have a washing machine? hahaha

So I'm heading back to Vegas!

We had a three week holiday booked since November - flights into Washington and back from Boston using our BA 2 for 1 voucher in First, and we were debating what to do between Washington and Boston and the idea of Vegas came up ;)
It turns out after much checking of the BA website for the last month we were able to switch the Boston return to Orlando (in Club) last night.
I then redeemed our Virgin Miles for internal flights from Washington to Vegas with Virgin America and then to Orlando via LA. The plan is to chill in Orlando after the madness of Vegas!

So we will be in Vegas from 23rd-30th May, which means we will be there for our fifth wedding anniversary, so lots of planning to be done.

I have two nights comp at Mirage with MLife but I am seriously considering the Platinum after reading all the good reviews from stoneman and others, plus the washing machine will come in handy :rotfl:

We do have myvegas points too so may look to redeem for rooms, if not we really enjoyed tender at Luxor last time so hoping thats still on there.

Has anyone used their Halifax Clarity Credit Card for cash withdrawls in Vegas? Have you found any ATMs which don't charge for or have low withdrawl fees?

    Thanks

Not really, we stayed in mirage for two nights in 2013 when we redeemed for myvegas tower suite (if only they still had his reward)
Last year we stayed in Luxor for 5 nights and most of gambling was in there or the hotels near there.

Anyone like to say how much they gamble in order to get given these offers?

Need to book 4 nights accom in July. Any recommendations on the best sites? Obviously awake of kayak and Trivago for the best comparison, but I've heard there are sites like last vegas that offer great last minute deals if your open to where you stay. Though being July perhaps it's best to book in advance?

I have never had one single offer from !!!!!! or TR in the 20 odd years I've been going to Vegas
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
