    Use Lowcostusa.co.uk for Vegas hotels
if you want to pay more, then use ANY other website.

Have you bought shares in Lowcostusa?

I got a room at the Flamingo using the caesers friends and family link which was cheaper than Lowcostusa

I prefer booking direct as there is no danger of anyone going bust etc but am sometimes swayed by a cheaper price

Need to book 4 nights accom in July. Any recommendations on the best sites? Obviously awake of kayak and Trivago for the best comparison, but I've heard there are sites like last vegas that offer great last minute deals if your open to where you stay. Though being July perhaps it's best to book in advance?

Vegas is an all year round destination but July/Aug are prob the quietest months as it is VERY HOT.

As Stuie says Lowcostusa is an option and there are other links on the first page that may be worth trying
  • For the past 2 days I haven't been able to use any of my 3 daily shares on Social rewards as I've none left. Perhaps i've been too diligent in logging in daily for the past few months. May give it a break for a week:rotfl:

I have never had one single offer from !!!!!! or TR in the 20 odd years I've been going to Vegas

Stoneman, you probably have had one from TR but maybe not seen it. We're mega low rollers, like our TR statements show $20 or similar on our win//loss thing. 6 years ago I logged in to check room rates and we were both getting free rooms at Bally's midweek in September (after Labor day). I've never spotted it since though, but I don't always log in there and look. I'm sure you said you had lost a decent amount of earned points, so you must get something. I'm sure I had 88 earned points when I was checking my SR points were added, and some of those may have been carried a couple of years! :rotfl:

I just looked it up and there are only 35 hotels for my dates on there. Might sound like a lot, but other companies will have much more than this. Some of the ones I'm thinking about weren't on there. :( I think maybe my dates aren't very good either, as they were a bit pricey.

    haha, no shares in Lowcostusa!
Just observation since 2013, trending and tracking...
    I go on the total price (inc's R Fee's)
Don't know of a friends/family link for CET properties ?

Overall, I found Quickrooms.com / expressrooms.com to be similar to Lowcostusa , as they included R fee's... That website also showed the cost in $ which helped me last and 2013 year to do some price matching....
But out of the many sites, including the US sites, I just found Lowcostusa to be the cheapest for majority of the hotels...
Am well into my spreadsheets, so I get to see cost difference overtime between providers :)
  • I'll keep an eye on it. Not heard of quickrooms or expressrooms. Have you booked through them without any problems? I'm always a bit wary. Trivago always brings up ones that are cheaper, and I think nvh had problems with one of them last year if I remember correctly. I'll be looking for a mixture of Myvegas reward nights and something else (maybe with washing machine :) ) so will be keeping my eye out for good deals.

just remember, u might see a cheaper price on some websites, but some state the Tax is not included (ok, only 12%)..
But more importantly, most DONT include the Resort fee....

Lowcostusa and the likes of Virgin and a few others use the same agent in the US to book the rooms. I was told that there are 2 agents in the US who collect the R Fee's on behalf of MGM resorts, hence they are the agents that Lowcostusa, etc etc use...

Quickrooms used to be expressrooms, they been around for ages...
I would have used them, but didn't need to, as only used them for price matching, this is how I got 3 nights in the Elara last year at Memorial weekend for £192 ! :D:D
Our Junior suite in the Elara had a washing machine, and I think the 1 bed's have them anyway, shame it cost too much to stay there! :(

    Not true

(Maybe Stuie is in commission ;) )

As always there is no one company that is "always" cheaper..... Lowcost have some good prices but never assume - check around.

Regarding mlife offers - I had been keeping an eye on the mlife website for a deluxe room with strip view at Aria for next month but before I managed to book, it shot up $100. I remembered mentioning once on FB that I never received mlife offers and they said call them for your best offers so I did and not only did I get it cheaper than their (mlife) website but as a Gold I got a free upgrade to strip view and high floor.
    Thank you all who post.
