Regarding the 15 day bus pass mentioned a few pages back.

Does anyone know of any outlet near mid strip area that sells them ?

We don't drive while in Vegas, and have always used the buses,or taxis,to get about.i have looked at the rtc website, and it shows they are available from many Walgreen locations. But guessing from the addresses on there, neither the Walgreens at Venetian or Planet Hollywood are listed...I may be wrong, but I don't think either is on that list.
When we first went to Vegas,we once bought a 30 day travel pass at South depot transportation centre, but I was hoping that we could buy passes from a strip location without the need to pay for the bus to get us to a location where we could then buy the passes....if that's clear enough to understand.:o.

    Edit

Can we actually buy these passes....as it says only able to use SDX and deuce route with valid Nevada state ID. ?
As I said,we definately bought a 30 day pass a number of years ago,and rode the strip with them all holiday.
  • Hi guys,

I've seen some people mention about myvegas.com, is it worthwhile playing on this app? I've seen on their site they mention about rooms, buffets etc..

    Thanks!

They've tightened up the terms and conditions a bit (now, some of the rewards require you to be staying at least one night in an MGM Group property), but I think it's still worth it. You just need time and patience.

For my last trip I had $75 off at Tender restaurant in the Luxor (highly recommended - excellent food!), $50 restaurant credit for Monte Carlo, $100 bar credit for Monte Carlo, and two free dinner buffets at MGM Grand. I'm currently sitting on about 850,000 Loyalty Points with 11 months to go until my next trip.

Some of the posters on here have had numerous free nights at hotels from My Vegas, just by being smart when redeeming their rewards and those of their partner.

Ok the food is defo a good idea. Is it a voucher then that you hand in when you arrive?

When you purchase a reward with your loyalty points, you enter your name and email, and you will be sent an email with a code. You can print this out and take it to the M life desk in the property when you redeem the reward.

If you want to redeem a reward for a free or discounted room, you have to call the hotel to book and to make sure the date is still available.

7/11 near Ellis Island sells them. That's where we usually get ours. Not sure if the 7/11 on the strip by Hawaiian Marketplace sells them, or even if that is still there.

We have never had a problem using them on the SDX or Deuce. Last time we used them was May this year. I thought it was only the shorter duration passes that had the NV ID restriction.

On a little side note here, You need to get an mlife card*(get it at the Mlife desk and its free, need i.d though) and as misty has said you get the email with the code and go to the Mlife desk,(with your new Mlife card and they put it on the Mlife card and you can go to the buffet(or whenever you wanna go) and you tell the cashier you have redeemed (whatever you have bought) and offer them your card, they swip it and bingo you eat for free!!!
    * you can get a 5% discount of purchases at mgm shops n stuff, not much but a saving, and when you play tables, slots they can track how much you spend and you may get comped n stuff.
My brother and i got 4 buffet rewards when we went in june(we had our cards from last year) and found the process pretty easy and saved us some money

    hope this helps

You do know there are 2 "Welcome to Las Vegas signs" ?

The other one is a definite drive ;)
There is one on Boulder Highway too. So there are actually 3 signs.
