Perfect meal last night at Charlie Palmers. The Cut of the Week menu, there was so much food I left half of it.

We were presented with 2 wines, French Pino Grigio for the starter course, and a California Pino Nior for the remaining courses. As Tracy liked both of them the wine waiter left her white glass at the table and kept topping that up as well.

We were sat next to a middle aged couple that were obviously on their first date. Very interesting conversation to be heard, kept us entertained which meant we stayed a bit longer than we should have and drank more wine than we should. Resulted in us having to get a taxi everywhere for the rest of the night, so even though the meal was cheap by Vegas standards we spent a small fortune on cabs.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Looked at several dates over last few days - what do you all think of this deal? through Netflights or Expedia 9 nights next March (before Easter) staying at NY NY Virgin direct flights from Gatwick for 2 people £1350.
Flights only were £485 each. (Think there must be a sale on as Expedia claim this is a special price through them)

I've just come back - I didn't really use my points especially efficiently as it wasn't with the OH and we have a bigger trip in planning but I used MyVegas for a Friday night stay at the Luxor as it was an expensive weekend -but rate with money when I booked was $150 so it was a good use of points -we also used one of the station casino rewards for a cabana bed which I didn't find the price of but was over $100 apparently -as we loved it it was a good deal - We also had a breakfast voucher that was upgraded to breakfast or lunch so value was at least $30 with tax so without trying very hard we got nearly $300 worth of services for nothing and we certainly could have done better had I worked at it.

EDIT Actually it was more -I forgot I also had a $25 casino credit from MyVegas I cashed too

They've tightened up the terms and conditions a bit (now, some of the rewards require you to be staying at least one night in an MGM Group property), but I think it's still worth it. You just need time and patience.

For my last trip I had $75 off at Tender restaurant in the Luxor (highly recommended - excellent food!), $50 restaurant credit for Monte Carlo, $100 bar credit for Monte Carlo, and two free dinner buffets at MGM Grand. I'm currently sitting on about 850,000 Loyalty Points with 11 months to go until my next trip.

Some of the posters on here have had numerous free nights at hotels from My Vegas, just by being smart when redeeming their rewards and those of their partner.

Well are going to Vegas at the end of May for 5 days so even if we can get a couple of meals 2 for 1 or even free that will be help us on our honeymoon! I would imagine the free nights are difficult to use?

No not too difficult at all as you can book those way ahead.
The trick is to get two nights free one on each myvegas account -ideally both weekend nights as Saturday and Sunday nights are more expensive then week days.

You might need to be a bit flexible eg I'd have preferred NY NY or Monte Carlo or Mandalay Bay to Luxor but all we could get was Luxor for our date however just by asking at check in we got upgraded to a West Tower room and the room was lovely. (The phrase is "Are there any complimentary upgrades available") . Never hurts to ask :)

Can you book these on lines using the promo code? We are looking at Vegas midweek for our trip.

There is one on Boulder Highway too. So there are actually 3 signs.

That's the other one I meant.

The "third one actually says "Welcome to Downtown Las Vegas"
