monumentally annoyed as I was stalking a MV reward, saw it come up, had copied email address so pasted filled in name accepted T&Cs and it would not let me click to confirm...I clicked and clicked the button and nothing happened.
Has anyone seen this before?
If it means I was just a second too late then that's annoying, but OK, I have had it before when you click to confirm and they say sorry sold out or whatever...but I am most aggravated at the button just not working at all.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Went to MAG last night. No wait for the patio at 7:30pm.
Had the most disinterested waiter ever, so with the fact that you can not now hear the Bellagio fountains from the terrace will give the place a miss in future.
I hate it that you get inferior service because you either aren't spending enough or have a Brit accent. Combine the 2 and you get next to no service, at which you leave a measly tip ($5) which in turn reiterates to them that Brits are bad tippers, never ending circle. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

I hadn't even thought of it based on spend. I guess the guy who orders lobster is going to be tipping double what the pizza eater tips because of the %. So expensive dishes mean even better service!! Being veggie our dinners tend to be pretty cheap, but we have had some good service in the past.
Last night in Vegas for us tonight. We're about to head out for a bit. Stir Happy Hour, then we're going to stop into Ellis Island as we heard you can cash up your coins in there (saw something on facebook so hope it's true or we'll be popping back to the room with the huge bag of coins!!).
Then we're going to head over to Burger Brasserie to see if the happy hour is on for a cocktail before 6, then onto Buca Cafe in Bally's to spend some of our TR points. Have done a bad job of spending them. Couple of cocktails each at happy hour in Burger Brasserie the other night, a drink at Le Central Bar, and one at Heart Bar and I think that's it! To be honest we find it hard to find bars that are inviting enough to want to go in and use them. We tend to have a drink or two with dinner, and maybe a happy hour....and if we sit at a slot machine we probably don't find the need to go find a bar either! Buca Cafe will take some points though so at least we'll use some, and save the rest for next year!
Right...best get a move on! Stir happy hour is calling!!0 -

Enjoy your last night! I would be interested to know about the coin machine at EI. There is one at Bellagio, by the cage...we have taken to wandering over from Cosmo our last night. I cannot remember what % they take, if any. There is also one at TI that we have used before.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I'm in my late 50's and we did the full Rock and Roll Las Vegas Marathon a few years back.
The weather is supposed to be cooling down a bit by Sunday so will leave our 10 mile run till then or Monday.
