Has anyone ever walked from Mandalay Bay to the Stratosphere? I think I would die.
I'm a young, fit male and even one Las Vegas block wears me out!0 -

I did Riviera to the Flamingo in snow -that was far enough !
My driving friends were quite horrified when I said I'd make my own way from the Orleans back to the Tuscany - it was very easy with the shuttle to CP. A lot of people forget about the various free shuttles.
Although the monorail at MGM isn't that short a walk I do like to do a ride at least once on the monorail to see the Strip from a different perspective.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

thanks for the quick and very detailed response misty blue, , will look into that!
and thanx for the info on the Deuce bus duchy, i seem to learn more each day i look on here so thans for expanding my knowledge, though to be fair i think i ll forget about it in a few months!:p
rorylando45,not quite Mandalay Bay to the Stratosphere but on our last trip we walked from circus circus to the mgm though we we stoped twice, to play some slots in a couple of the hotels , hope this counts!!
on our first trip to vegas we were happy to try see the different hotels and thought get the taxi to the sign then from there to circus circus and we ll take a nice easy walk to the Stratosphere, but got there and were gee, it looked closer on the map !!!, :mad:0 -
if trying the bus from MGM to Stratosphere maybe consider the SDX as well as it will make far less stops than the Deuce so may be quicker...it also goes onto downtown...we normally have a bus day now and time the ticket purchase so we can do a few things over the course of a day. So far we have always stuck with the SDX as the Deuce just always looks so crowded...though the SDX can be too. The first few times we took that bus it seemed like most didn't know it was an option for some destinations and it was particularly great.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

For the Deuce and SDX you can get 24 hr and 3 day passes. I believe that these tickets can also be used on all of the buses in Vegas. Has anyone taken a bus other then the Deuce/SDX from the Strip/Downtown to anywhere interesting or to a good shopping mall.0

Jubilee! show at Bally's closed yesterday. A friend who is there now just let me know.
I don't think that the improvements they made to update the show were very popular but didn't expect it to close just like that.
Edited to add that this may be a false alarm. I'm keeping my eye on it.0 -

If you buy a bus timetable, there is a chart with landmarks, casinos and other places of interest, and the bus you need to get on to find them.0 -

that's really good value considering a day pass is $8 if you include the Strip routes!Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
