second ENVY...though I cannot recall ever having any reaction or poor service when using a r.com voucher anywhere...it's kind of the land of vouchers - maybe that's the difference between NYC and Vegas? There are vouchers for just about everything in Vegas.
Thinking about it, the CC steakhouse with the $150 MyVegas reward we felt a bit like the waiter was a bit put off by the whole thing...and then the bill came and without trying (and with having coffees and desserts) our bill was $151.50, I think...and the waiter made a point to note our balance was $1.50 with what we took to be a certain level of snottiness. He was French, though.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
looking for a good steakhouse or an Italian, I used rest.com vouchers in ny and was just felt the service wasn't what it should be,after I told them I had a voucher to redeem
If you want great value, the Porterhouse special $24 at Redwood Grill (California) is fantastic

Hi
We went to Vegas for the first time at Christmas and plan to return hopefully next year.
I found so many helpful info on this forum so thank you all for all the great tips.
Since we returned home l have signed up for My Vegas rewards on facebook (found it on one of the earlier posts). My question is how long do the points last? Just a little worried they clear them at the end of the year and how do you claim the rewards (never done this before).
Thank you all in advance.Stash Busting Challenge 2016 6/520 -

Hi
i wonder if anyone could advice. My brother are going to vegas for 10days in june(3 dyas in new york before vegas).with the exchang rate seemingly downwards is it worth getting dollars so soon?has anyone done this before?
many thanx for any advice0 -
If nothing else I'd expect the pound to improve after the election in June - hopefully it will rise to a more sensible level long before that though. Personally I wouldn't be buying now for June though even if it was a pre election trip.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

We've not had a good washing machine discussion in ages ....but I'd just like to comment that the Orleans still doesn't have a laundrette !

we were looking at our planner for the March trip earlier today...we're going with my in-laws and so in some cases adding things to the planner we would just know we would do for clarity...I added 'laundry' to it today...sadly, we are not staying anywhere with in-hotel facilities so it will be Wizard of Suds for us.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

Really could use some help here from someone knowledgeable.
We are going to Vegas from 12-16 May, as part of a longer trip to the west coast. Have booked Signature at MGM Grand, but this could be cancelled. We have previously stayed at the Venetian, but having done that, we don't need to stay there again, and it is looking very pricey at the moment.
I currently have 266,433 myvegas gold coins, and quite honestly, I could do with some advice as to what to do with them. Could I, for example use them to get 3 nights at MGM Grand, and would this be the best use of them. Just had a look and can only get 2 nights availability out of our 4.
Thanks.0 -
I know, Orleans really needs to get a laundry. Even if it's in a dingy room with no windows and takes 25c coins, it would still be worth mentioning!!
I've not tried Wizard of Suds. I want the laundry within my hotel. At Desert Rose there was a wee dingy room near the pool with washing machines in it...you could stick your washing on and pop away for 20 minutes while it ran. Problem with Desert Rose is lack of sunloungers, and also those that they had were hogged by Brits placing towels on them all day. I can't go back there because of that.0 -
Hey all,
I didn't really look properly at the Mlife offer stuff! Now am seeing it a bit clearer!
Wifes mlife offers for the Luxor went up to end of June, although not best offers...
My Luxor offer for 2 free nights went upto end of June...
I now got an offer for the Monte Carlo upto end of July for 2 free nights.....
As 2 nights are the Mirage arnt booked yet (will take around 6 weeks to get the 72k chips we need on wifes myVegas account to get the free rooms), am half tempted to take the offer of 2 nights with Monte Carlo....
Although was hoping to do just 2 hotels, as the swapping around is a pain when all u want to do is sunbath all day!!!
Am hoping some other offers come up in Mlife, but my guess is, the offers appear based on your trend spend in the casinos ? and MC and Luxor show up as my main spend places in the tax info part of Mlife...
oh and yeah, the Dollar is looking real bad, getting a bit worried now,0
