On the competition forum at the moment, there are a few comps to win trips to Vegas. I think one ends today but there is also one for William Hill who are giving away a trip daily until 2 February :-)Thank you all who post.0

Anyone stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel?0
-
And was it so terrible you never went back, or would you recommend?
just out of curiosity, is there a reason you're considering Hard Rock specifically?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Hard Rock sometimes comes up very cheaply on Priceline. I was looking at it last year and it was about £30 and I was thinking it was the Westin (was the 4* Strip East category I think), and I was wondering, then realised it was actually Hard Rock so I didn't book. I find it a bit far out to be honest. I don't even know if it has a shuttle though, that would help. We had a really good pizza (take away) using an r.com voucher from a place called Vegas Pizza and it was quite near Hard Rock I'm sure. It was in the Blue Green resort.0

We walked through the Hard Rock just before a pool party was starting, midafternoon, and saw the security having to deal with the unruly line.
If you are young and want to party it maybe ok, I wouldnt want to stay there0 -
Virgin Atlantic seat allocation question:
I get easily confused with what's on their website, etc!
Is it now a case that you have to pay to select seats, up until 24 hours before check-in, when they all become available?
http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/us/en/travel-information/customer-service/latest-news/seat-assignment.html
Am I then reading this bit correctly:
**If you are selecting seats before March 2015 for travel within 60 days, you will need to speak to our Contact Centre who will manually waive the fee.
Meaning if I want to book seats now, for a flight at the end of March 2015 (60 days from today), I can call them and it'll be free today?0
