am tempted by the Bar crawl bus tour thing this year....
For those that have been on 1, am thinking doing the Thursday night deal.. (me and the wife)...
Hows it work, as most likely will get 1 of these through Groupon....
U meet at a bar for 9:45pm, get 2 free drinks ? (mixer or beer?)
Get wristband to buy cheaper drinks ?
Then onto a bus which you might get some free cheapo drinks/shots onboard, onto a club, but no discounted drinks in the clubs ?
Stay for maybe 1hr, then they take u to the next club, and u do what u want from there ???
Guessing using the bus thing, means u skip the queues getting into the clubs ???0 -
Hi all,
We have pre booked our economy seats in the virgin bubble for our trip in October, has anyone experience of these seats? I also read if economy isn't full they will close the bubble and have everyone sit down stairs, but surely if I have paid to pre book these seats they can't do that, can they??
We had seats in the bubble last summer when we flew back. It was a lot quiter which was good as the kids managed some sleep.0 -
News today that Mariah Carey will be taking on a residency in Vegas, in place of Celine who is unlikely to return until early 2016.
Interesting to see how it goes!Comping since oct 09' === October wins : Vodkat Cocktail Kit, £50 bonkers!, Peroni Bottle Opener x 2, Brit Chicks Merchandise
November wins : Peroni Bottle Opener x 2, Ocean's 13 DVD, Monsters Vs Aleins DVD, £5 Voucher0 -
Well, life has been a bit hectic for us. Missed out on a wee trip to Marrakech last month as hubby wasn't very well, but we are going to Bangkok for his 40th next week.
8 more sleeps.
We usually stay at Platinum, so nvh I'm also wondering how high the bottom line rate is this year!We got Platinum for same rate as last year... (which I think was the same that you had last year....) so can't be too disappointed I guess!
No not stayed at the venetian before. Let me know where you end up booking. What's the pool area like at the venetian? It was a large pool area and fairly quiet (in Vegas terms)... bit nippy though when you first get in!

I knew they were having problems, yet they keep spending as if its going out of fashion in Vegas (the Linq for one).
re my earlier post about resort fees being optional, I think the above is one reason why they are now compulsory even on comped rooms0 -
It's only the 3 nights in Bally's but according to LowCost it's still optional - We'll probably take Internet access anyway and pay for the resort fee but I'll be asking out of curiosity.
We thought it was a decent deal on Ballys at £141 for Friday - Sunday with LowCostUSA.0 -
Knock travel in belfast had 7 nights in cosmopolitan, flying dub to manchester(aer lingus) then manchester to vegas (virgin) for £538 leaving 1st october!
sold out now apparently!!0 -
I did wonder when I read about Caesars bankruptcy if that may explain why the rates for our rooms in March jumped so much from the last time I looked...I checked in October and November (Cyber Monday sale) and they were exactly the same...I should have booked then as they jumped quite a lot between then and when we booked shortly after Christmas...the relative value of our comps and casino rate reduced quite a bit. At first I just thought it was because it's a busy time in Vegas and I was just dumb not to book when I first looked, but maybe not.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
