That's what I got too. A bit disappointed to be honest. I don't eat crisps.0 -
Hope it works for you
BUT my PO CC has been rejected most times when I get to Vegas despite telling them beforehand.
Strangely though my wifes card linked to the same account usually works
it's so weird as we have never had a problem using the card while we are in the US (and we have never told them we will be in the US)...never...but buy a US Groupon online and the PO will be straight on the phone.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Sounds like you might have been at MGM for dinner too? We went about 7pm after we dropped the car off at the airport, also on a myvegas comp. We're vegetarian and it's one of the better buffets for us. That said I loved the breakfast. The tater tots...mmmm.
No we were there for breakfast yesterday Lesley. It was good and I probably ate my body weight in smoked salmon for breakfast but I wouldn'y have paid the full price of $29.99. I nearly tried those tato tots- sounds like I should have done !!
I was really unimpressed that Luxor suspended issuing all MyVegas vouchers this week. No issues at MGM though.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Ah, I thought you meant dinner ($29.99), breakfast is $17.99 which is sort of ok I think....really only £12 for juice plus all you can eat. That said, there's a lot of cheaper deals around too! I think dinners are generally expensive, so I'm glad we've got a lot of deals...we have another MGM reward to use, which can be used till 3pm so we might have a late lunch with it instead of a breakfast (but that means no more tater tots lol).
What do you mean about Luxor? Is it Labor Day weekend no redemptions or have the suspended the program? We have a Luxor myVegas we weren't planning on using it till at least Tuesday though as we didn't think it was available fri-mon this weekend. Hopefully we can still use our reward.0 -
Well, yesterday we had some pool time (Platinum have frozen cocktails at the pool this weekend for $5 which are quite nice). We took our time getting ready and then went down for happy hour about 430pm. Couple of drinks and an appetizer.
We then walked over to Origin India on Paradise Road. We had a r.com voucher $15 off $22.50 min spend. We ended up spending more than that, had a couple of appetisers, shared a curry, and shared a gulab jamun. All very good I have to say, I was well impressed!! Would definitely go back there. The paneer makhani was amazing!
We went into Hofbrauhaus for the first time as well. Had never been in, and though we should go in while on foot in that area! Then over to Hard Rock, we got $5 free slot play and then walked back. Popped into Ellis Island to use the 3 rounds of drinks coupon from LVA.
Looks like another nice sunny day so off down to the pool again before deciding what to do this afternoon/evening.0 -
All the LUXOR redemptions are still on the gamw back home here - I just tried one as a trial - will get it back tomorrow.0

I think duchy meant they suspended redemptions at that property because of the UFC fight thing.0

I know Luxor and a few others were blacked out 4-7th for the Labor Day weekend, yet bizarrely MGM are all ok even though the fight is there as well. I'm finding that quite surprising. We're using 2 MGM ones this weekend, so it would have been a struggle for us to use our redemptions otherwise.
The girl at the MGM Mlife desk told me that the b/fast buffet is valid till 3pm, but the reward says otherwise. We were going to go this for late lunch today, but looks like we best not. Now to decide what to do....most of our deals exclude the weekend.0 -
They told me at the MGM player club that they,d made my voucher for breakfast or lunch (not just breakfast as it was for) so maybe it's a standard thing- and also explains why the ticket said the value was $29.99 pp ?
The sign at the Luxor said they wouldn't process any vouchers something like 2nd to 7th so Tuesday should be OK. Weird that they have a block but MGM don't as there were certainly no blackout dates on any of my vouchers. They also insisted on refunding the voucher for me even though I said not to worry I'd do it myself (and gave me my birthday spin even tho it was 2 days early -and doubled the amount of the bonus play as it was a rubbish spin)

Funny at MGM they also told us b/fast or lunch but we were going to go today for late lunch but I was too scared in case it didn't work out and we never got it. We went around to Tuscany for a bite to eat, then quick drink at happy hour at Platinum then worked our way down the strip to Tropicana for the Laugh Factory. Good show. Just walked back. Going to walk down to MGM tomorrow morning...thinking about those tater tots already lol.0
