I'm not sure what not using creditcards has to do with how often people go to Vegas Bobby.....Most people here don't go on credit if that's what you mean !
(and I *think* the shot is from the Platinum -as some people have an addiction to that particular hotel)

Bobby - as Duchy says I don't think folk are actually spending money they don't have - I know there has been a lot of discussion on Halifax Clarity and how it saves money on withdrawals abroad. Some people actually log on and make payments while away to save interest on the withdrawals, however the interest is really negligable anyway still making it cheaper than most debit cards to withdraw money abroad, even when you pay a little interest to the date of statement.
As for Platinum....There's at least 4 people on the board staying there this year, it's a well liked hotel...however I don't think it's just the hotel that draws us all, but the washing machines!0 -
Now then, would you consider that a "strip view"? I would but Tracy is adamant that because you can't see the physical road "The Strip" it's nothing of the sort. So they shouldn't advertise the suites on that side as being Strip View rooms.
I know, me too:wall::wall::wall:0 -
speaking of washing machines does the Tuscany have them?I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

I had a personal guided tour of the Tuscany laundry room. Because there is no way any tour I am on can skip the laundry facilities.
We don't go until October, but starting to get excited.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Hello again fellow Vegaser's, as hubby is working I'm pondering how quickly Vegas is coming up and getting quite giddy! When we booked flights and hotel option to book transport didn't pop up so didn't book it. I'm wondering if its worth pre-booking or whether it makes no odds? Have been on the taxi price predictor and it reckons about $17 including tip to get to the MGM Signature and I assume there will be lots of taxis therefore no need to book...?
Thanks all!

it's not really worth pre-booking transport...sometimes there are queues, but they have it really well organized and they move quite quickly.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

I agree with posters that you do not need to pre book a taxi - unless you want to do that stretch limo treat thing.
We did it once in Florida - Virgin charged double what a direct booking would have cost - so a valuable leson learnt for us.0 -
Thanks, thats what I was thinking but always good to check!
Also wondering about pre booking things such as CSI tour, it is online for $20.40pp which is a good deal, can you still get good deals like that there and then or are there certain things you should pre book! Want to make sure am making good money choices!

BOGOF for CSI here, just print it and take it with you (though I admit, I have no personal experience using this particular coupon, I have used others from destinationcoupons without any issues.

There are things we would pre-book, but many we wouldn't - just really depends on the specific thing, how important it is to you, if you want specific seats for a show, etc.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
