Yeah, I have Animal Fries , and 4x2 Burger (4 cheese slices) with the pepper on the bottom... :D:D
I'll be doing 'In n Out' in California somewhere, as am sure will be starving by the time we land in LA!

And yeah, am well looking forward to my trip!
Foodie places I like and will be going to this year:

Harley Davidson Caf! - Strip (great food, we been each year so far)
Rollin Smoke - Off Strip , went last year, cheap and proper smoked BBQ food, real real real nice! :D
Famous Daves - Kinda off strip, but south of the strip... Never been so looking forward to trying it...
Memphis Champion BBQ - Off strip, went 2 yrs ago, I thought it sucked but wife likes it, so wants to go back..
    Hooters - oh I love Hooters! ;);););););)
Stripburger - Strip ... Nice burgers, especially with the R.com voucher! :D

    Ask for everything animal style.

agree, though I do prefer the fries natural...a burger that is not animal style would make me very sad.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Did you manage to fit that all into 2 days in San Diego Lesley74? What was the safari park like? At the moment we are planning the zoo, seaworld and USS Midway.

Yes, we fitted that all into 2 days.

    First day:-
    Walmart 7am
Drive down to peninsual and up through Coronado (20 min stop/walk)
    Zoo
    USS Midway
Flagship cruise (415pm maybe? it was a south one)
    Dinner

    Second day:-
Safari Park (there for it opening 9am)
Bite to eat along the way
    Drive through La Jolla
    Outlets near Tijuana
Tram to Gaslamp - dinner and a drink, tram back.

Zoo was better than Safari park. We were at the zoo on mother's day so it was very busy. Safari park was quiet, but we went on a Monday, presumably most kids at school. More spread out and seemed like less animals. Took longer to get around than the zoo but it was quite nice walking around. Definitely do Zoo as a first choice though, but add the Safari Park if you're keen to do more of similar. Safari Park had lots of upsell options, can't help but think they may be what makes it a better experience, but they start around $50 so would increase your costs significantly. We're not theme park type of people (went to Florida and only did Tampa Zoo) so I realise the prices of these things are probably just quite high and maybe a shock to me because I don't tend to do these types of thing.

    Hope this helps :)

Rather unexpectedly it looks like I may be in Vegas for four days at the beginning of September ......but trying to find myVegas nights that work is a right royal pain in the posterior so late !!!

Looking at the rates I presume labor day is the weekend of the 5th/6th ?

Labor Day is always the first Monday in September. I'm sure I found myvegas reward nights for the Friday Saturday at Luxor that weekend. We have a room booked until the Friday at Wynn, then looking for something for the remainder. It's a popular time for boxing as well (maybe following week) so can be expensive. The days following Labor day are usually the cheapest, the week after it goes up a bit.

Lol, we believe you (about the heels).

Unfortunately we're still a bit undecided re Tuscany/Platinum for September. Tuscany is definitely a good shout, but on the day it was sunny there wasn't a single available lounger by the pool, and that would kill it for me I'm afraid. We didn't have to worry about it though, had already sunbathed that morning, and then the next day it was cloudy (well rainy), then home.

8 mins seems a bit short, but perhaps you mean from Bally's and were luckier with the crosswalk than we were. Some hotels it takes a good 5 mins to get to your room anyway so I do agree.

At Philly airport now. Wine at Vino Volo as we have a bit of a wait here.
I have some major news that might effect your plans.
Platinum are introducing a resort fee. Not sure when, but it's coming in.

Derek says that anyone that books now will be grandfathered in with no resort fee and will get the old half off 4-7 happy hour drinks offer. You will need to tell him you were told by Andy that this is in offer though.
I booked for September yesterday which is when he told me about it
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
