You don't often see offers and promos for the Venetian so this might be of interest to some...

Well I've booked so thanks everyone. I was looking forward to gambling, food, gambling, shows, but nephew has other ideas. He seems to want to go to gun activities.
What's the position with travel insurance. Does it cover him for gun shooting ranges do you think. He looked at one place and I remembered it from a few years back where the instructor was killed by a young girl. I'm not keen, even less keen if travel insurance doesn't cover it. Thoughts please anyone?

You'll have to read the policy. Most policies I've ever had have covered it (not that I'd willingly ever set foot in such a place!).

I'm surprised that you've had it in your policy I must admit. I was thinking perhaps it would be an add on with an extra premium with the premium being prohibitive. I'll have to research. More to do!

I'm not, it's probably safer than the car ride to get to the range! I've just checked my free Nationwide policy and rifle shooting is included as standard.

Oh I'm going to that shooting range in September. I'm gonna be shooting a sniper rifle. :)

It's not listed so you'd have to ask. Not that rifle shooting being included on Nationwide's policy mean it will be included by anyone else's insurer of course.

I do the gun ranges every year...
You don't need insurance, as the only person you would manage to shoot would be yourself :D An instructor is on you, so the likelihood of some divvy in the gun range being able to shoot anyone else is not likely at all.....
I do handguns, sub, full & semi auto, not tried the MG42 thing yet, as its dam loud!!!
Best $350 I've ever spent !! :D Gun range on Tropicana, then pop to Wal-mart straight after to buy some Mountain Dew & BBQ sauce to bring home! :D
