What could we do that we might have never done before? We can go from MAN>London Heathrow> Vegas and then Vegas>Chicago>manchester for £935pp so i'm really tempted but I need to think of new things to tempt other half as he wants to go to Thailand in November and I'm not really a thailand person.
Thanks,
That sounds expensive - How about this one Manchester Atlanta Vegas (I used Saturdays in November) with Delta
Virgin Atlantic
10:20 MAN 20:51 LAS 18h 31m 1 stop (ATL)
07:15 LAS 07:00 MAN 15h 45m 1 stop (ATL)

No. :rotfl:
He's well behaved lol. He's a bloke who wants to shoot
Its for his 21st birthday and my 50th but my plan was gamble, eat, shows, gamble, eat, shows.Oh and the Grand Canyon. Shooting is not my cup of tea. I'll try to persuade him to do the indoor gun places rather than the outside ranges.

Hi all,
I've not been Vegas since 2013. Been looking after reading these posts but struggling for what to do when we are there, as we've been 3 times.
We've drove to LA, gone to grand Kenyon, ate at most restaurants.

Havent posted on here in a while, trying to stay away
had to comment on this one though
for things to do ...have you read the first page of this thread although not usre whats on there, a car helps you to get to places away from the strip like Lake mead, mount Charleston, pinball hall of fame, to name a couple
restaurants...you say you have eaten at most...there are at a conservative estimate about 3000 of them, you would have done well to have eaten at most of them
Bet you havent been to Ko-Mex
ps
that flight price looks expensive unless it includes accomodation0 -

It depends on what he wants to shoot. The reason Ive chosen the outdoor range is because I want to shoot a sniper rifle. Most other guns will be fine indoors.
Saying that I don't believe an indoor range is any safer than an outdoor range.0 -

For anybody who can travel from Dublin via Gatwick with BA - see how much you can save!
For me looking at dates for next March the prices come out at £1100 for both of us staying at a cheap hotel such as Excalibur - UK price nearly £14000 -

When you say via Gatwick do you mean doing that so you can drop the last leg on the way home?
I discovered when booking my flights recently you don't have to do that. The main reason is that uk air passenger duty only applies on outbound flights, so start in Dublin and return to you usual regional airport. I mentioned a couple of pages back I saved a fortune starting in Dub and returning to ncl.
If you are not set on BA then use kayak or similar and do a multi city search which will bring up additional airline options. Placement flights to Dub can be had from most regional airports for peanuts on Ryanair and or Aer Lingus.0 -
When using a LCC as a placement flight don't forget they charge for checked in bags as an extra (although if you are routing back through the same airport you can leave your bags in left luggage and check them in when transitting so long as you allow enough time)I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
