I do the gun ranges every year...
You don't need insurance, as the only person you would manage to shoot would be yourself :D An instructor is on you, so the likelihood of some divvy in the gun range being able to shoot anyone else is not likely at all.....
I do handguns, sub, full & semi auto, not tried the MG42 thing yet, as its dam loud!!!
Best $350 I've ever spent !! :D Gun range on Tropicana, then pop to Wal-mart straight after to buy some Mountain Dew & BBQ sauce to bring home! :D

It's not something I'd be particularly worried about either, but if you do shoot yourself then the medical treatment costs would quite possibly bankrupt you!

If my existing policy didn't cover it I'd personally risk it, but I can see why others wouldn't.

You don't often see offers and promos for the Venetian so this might be of interest to some...

    Rates from $114 per night
    Available May 20, 25-28, 31; June 7-11, 14-18, 23-25; July 2, 5-7, 12-15, 19-21, 26-29; Aug. 2-5, 9-12, 23-26; Sept. 7, 15

That's a decent rate for Venetian. :) It's worthwhile trying priceline express as well. You can tell which ones are which.

    5* North strip
Trump is the one without a casino
Venetian has the casino symbol and 8/10 rating
Palazzo also has the casino symbol but a 9/10 rating
It's allegedly possible to get Wynn when trying for Venetian or Palazzo, but it's unlikely as it's a bit more expensive and I doubt anyone would complain if they did!

But the girl killed the instructor. Not herself. Injuries to me or the nephew would be costly amongst other things so I would want insurance so I'll look into it.
My nephew is also very keen to get his hands on Mountain Dew. Very suspicious. Are you my nephew lol :rotfl:

I concur with your comment that if I injure myself or he injurs himself then it will be costly so I want insurance.
I will have to make some proper enquiries of the insurers.

Is your nephew aware that Tesco sell it in this country?

from what I gather, MD fans say it's significantly different to the US version. It may be just fine, but not the same as it is in the US.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Yes, I thought so too when I tried it but wondered if it was just me.

Mountain Dew over here/Europe = Nasty drink....
Mountain Dew in the US = Good drink! :D They use High Fructose Corn syrup, makes the drink taste super yummy!!

As for gun ranges, if your talking gun range as in a gun range, then as above, you wont have any issues.
If you were hellbent on killing yourself, I don't think you would be spending lots of money on a holiday to Vegas! :D

Outdoor ranges and the place where that kid accidently held her trigger on the sub gun was a freak accident, plus a very much open space....
The ranges at Vegas are indoor, you would get dropped before you managed to pull a stunt or do an accident....
In the 4 times I've been to the range, worst accident I had was getting trigger happy and spending more than I planned to :D

Nephew and his sidekick said similar about mountain dew and some cereals. Said they've taken all the good stuff out lol when you buy in Europe.
Nephew is talking about an outside gun place and in particular had his eye on burgers and bullets which he didn't realise is where the instructor was killed. It was me who recalled the incident. What's the difference between what you term a Vegas range and a gun range? Is it simply that you mean vegas ranges are indoors and are safer? Whereas burgers and bullets is outdoor and less safe?
