That's a decent rate for Venetian. :) It's worthwhile trying priceline express as well. You can tell which ones are which.

    5* North strip
Trump is the one without a casino
Venetian has the casino symbol and 8/10 rating
Palazzo also has the casino symbol but a 9/10 rating
It's allegedly possible to get Wynn when trying for Venetian or Palazzo, but it's unlikely as it's a bit more expensive and I doubt anyone would complain if they did!

Sad I didn't spot this as it appeared the day after I'd booked. Never mind , we'll just have to go again !

    Hi all,

I've not been Vegas since 2013. Been looking after reading these posts but struggling for what to do when we are there, as we've been 3 times.

We've drove to LA, gone to grand Kenyon, ate at most restaurants.

What could we do that we might have never done before? We can go from MAN>London Heathrow> Vegas and then Vegas>Chicago>manchester for £935pp so i'm really tempted but I need to think of new things to tempt other half as he wants to go to Thailand in November and I'm not really a thailand person.

    Thanks,

Maybe combine Las Vegas with a road trip round the Grand Circle?

or the Las Vegas > Los Angeles > Pacific Coast Highway > San Francisco > Yosemite > Death Valley > Las Vegas loop?

£935pp for flights alone seems steep... Are you set on fixed dates for that price? :)

just to follow up - Facebook appears to be completely back now - quite a few shares seem to have popped up for it too :)

Yes, I was pleased to see a 50 point one this morning. And I used up all my shares (50, 25, 25) so I didn't even get very far and I think there were probably more in there. I didn't look, I'm lazy and just go by the yellow stars but I bet there's more there tomorrow when I have my new shares.

I've cashed in all I can get for my trip (a week tomorrow!!!). Should be $150 worth sitting in my account by the time I get to Vegas (or $140 at least if the last $10 doesn't make it on time.

That said, we don't have many Total Reward plans. Maybe Planet Hollywood buffet ($10 off in LVA and will maybe do drink bump). We are more likely to use Total Rewards on our September trip. We're kind of maximising MyVegas rewards this trip, and will try to do the same for that next trip, but the September trip is longer.

Shouldn't complain about having too many freebies :rotfl:

Bullets & Burgers... Outdoor Range, but as far as I know, still in Vegas/Nevada...
The girl who accidently shot the instructor with an Uzi was done in Arizona... not sure it is the same Gun Range...
and yeah, I refer to the Gun ranges as the Indoor Units....
I guess the outdoor range would have me on edge if a real dumbass was to fire a gun and forget what recoil was!

Its all about personal opinion for guns, but personally, I feel safer in an indoor gun range....
With the instructors so close to you, and you being similar height, means the instructor can stop u losing it..... When a girl half your size throws back from recoil, by the time u re-act, I guess its too late :(

MK55, what restaurants have you eaten at? I'm sure there are a few new ones you haven't been to. I'm thinking there are a lot of restaurants left for you to try.

Have you tried e by Jose Andres? That's an exclusive molecular gastronomy event and very difficult to get a reservation.

If you booked directly it is likely to be cancellable. You should check in case there is a better deal on Priceline...you never know.

I've booked with Thomas Cook so it's all booked and paid for now but I'll know to check next time. Fingers crossed for a big win in the casino and I can go again soon lol. :rotfl:

    Thanks,

We recently did return MAN to LAS with TC (£600 per person return) for a 2 weeks holiday.
Inbetween we did return internal flights to San Francisco ($137, but could have been done for $78 per person return).
If it lines up nicely it can workout a cheaper option that staying in LV for the full 2 weeks, ie go see somewhere else when the hotel rates greatly increase in LV at the weekend.
