The deal I've found with thomas Cook is good so don't really now want to do seperate flights and accomodation but do need a better seat than economy so I'm stuck really as I want to go from Manchester or Birmingham preferably but can't afford virgin premium economy but don't know who else does a better seat than economy but at an affordable price.

If you are gonna go with thomas cook please bear in mind resort fees(theres some info on the first page) I recall a few pages back on the thread that it was unclear if thomas cook INCLUDED resort fees or if they DID NOT.(i guess this is for whomever you book with ask about resort fees IF they ARE or IF they are NOT included in your price)
I have no ideas in your questions about better seat though.
As regards your question in regards the hotels, and trip advisor i may say that loads of people use it and some people may be hacked off for something little to do with the hotel rooms and what not, thus maybe making there experince with that hotel a bit downwards?

I ve been to vegas oncebefore we went last year and the mgm was great and worked excellently for us .And i think thats half the battle ,i guess it is what works for people.
best of luck !! and remeber have fun:D

ah bummer ,sorry to hear that !

I think in our case we exchanged a heck of alot of money,im unsure if thats standard to offer a lil bit better for a large amount rather than a smaller kinda amount(no offence)
I was/am a lil worried about the exchange rate, maybe going down quite a bit(we head out early june)so i did not want it to go down quite alot, in and around the election and slowly very slowly creep up and we maybe going with just that little bit less!

I loathe this new format...I turned it off when they were testing it as I hate it...please someone tell me there is a way to turn it off now.

Bizzare...after posting that, it's back to the old format. I cannot be that powerful. Wait, it's the old format after I logged in...oh this makes me so happy.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Ferf It defaults to the new format on my iPad, still on old format on desktop and iPhone!?
  • I'm just reading about long taxi queues on arrival at the airport, especially on weekends, I'm just wondering if it's worth booking a transfer or just to take the risk and possibly have a long wait next Sunday? What do most people do? I'm not a fan of shuttles with multiple drop offs.
