That's a shame but good to hear the clubs are popular. My son attended afterschool Cookery Club today which is the only club except for Computer Games Club , about half the school (a dozen or so kids) went to the cooking one. To be honest, I'm not happy with the lack of ECs.

Nature Club sounds good, may suggest that to son's school.

They have fantastic after school clubs are minioccs school. He's going running club, nature club and gardening club this term. He has done dance and multi sports in the past. For the older kids there's extra ones like engineering club, football club and others I can't remember. They even had spy club one term but mini occ didn't go as it clashed with nature club and there was no way he was missing that!

They usually have a couple on each day. Last week it was teeming down and about 30 kids (1/3 of the school) are having a fantastic time at running club, they were loving it.

You should definitely suggest nature club, that's definitely one of the faves at the school.
  • Just spotted computer games club!!!!! Arh that's so very wrong:(

Your son's school ECs sound excellent. I'll definitely make the suggestion of a nature club to the school, thanks. :)

Anyway, be thankful you've only had to deal with some lost clothes today and not wet ones. Yes, we had that to deal with this morning. Not really sure how 'ask go to the bathroom when you need to' hasn't sunk in to be honest.

We had that a couple of times in reception. Miniocc had never had an accident 'til he went to school. Not one, not even at night. I put it down to all the excitement and fun making him forget to ask! Since then we've had a couple of nighttime accidents but we've gone through that phase now (thank goodness as he's got a down duvel and washing/drying is difficult!)

I feel for him, he's just too excited about everything new. Lovely really :)

Sounds like you've been lucky with your son, this has been an ongoing problem but both Mrs K and I thought we'd got through it recently. I hope it is just being too excited and a one off.

As for the nighttimes, well, that's a whole other issue.

My nephew had an ongoing problem at night which he didn't grow out of til his teens. Not unusual for boys due to there anatomy apparently. Try not to worry too much about it.
  • Today I've found out my mortgage t and c changed so that I can op 10% per year so I've changed around my regular OPs and it's been upped to £220 (according to the man at HSBC!)

Whilst on phone was speaking to man who was having a nice chat about the OPs I make and he said he had one customer who even went as far as always rounding down his mortgage to the nearest £10 to make it a tidy number. Oh I've never heard of anyone doing that before :rotfl:

Anyhow as soon as I got off the phone I logged straight onto internet banking to OP the account that had been more limited by the amount to make it a round number :rotfl:

Whilst this is smashing as I can actually op more on the mortgage on the higher rate it does mean that my target to pay off the smaller one in 5 years (whilst doing previously max op on large mortgage) won't be achieved. I actually need to set an actual figure for 5 years now.

    End of 2015 £128,000
    End of 2016 £117,000
    End of 2017 £105,000
    End of 2018 £93,000
    End of 2019 £80,000
    End of 2020 £67,000

In other news only money spent was on bus £3 and accounts are all looking healthy enough.

I know he'll grow out of it in time. :) My father is of the 'beat it out of him' school and Mrs K thinks it's all my fault (not sure how she reached that conclusion, though). Fortunately, he has been gradually getting better.

All very good news. :) Almost halving your mortgage in 5 years it fantastic. I think I ought to start working on some targets for mine.

Are all your renovations done or are you concentrating on overpaying your mortgage and renovations at the same time?
