  • When you say cup do you mean standard drinking cup or like capful? Just melting soap now...
Hmm, not sure I melted soap enough, it kept solidifying again, think I left much of it on side of the pot.

I got the idea of resending the card from an old lady who had been sending the same cards with her husband all their married life.New sentiments are added over the years.

Sounds like you met my grandmother, Grandfather never did work out that it was the same card every year.

    Hi Busy

I would not worry about that too much!! As it is your first attempt I would use it for clothes washing anyway and see how it goes!! If and when you make it again try and make sure the soap is melted fully!!

Just to say before using it make sure you give the container it is in a good shake as it does separate whilst it is standing!!

Did you make a full load of it? If so you can store it in an outdoor shed/outhouse if you do not have the room to keep it all in your kitchen!! My surplus was stored outside a store room and was fine!!

Please let me know how your first wash turns out. I am sure others will be interested too!!
