New seed feeders with trays underneath have arrived, been put together, filled and put in garden. I have come to loathe pigeons because they have destroyed the grass under the fruit trees. It all had to be returfed a few years ago because it was more weed than anything else, and I can't afford to have to contribute my share every few years - I'd rather save what we've got. Pigeons have been tearing it up for a while and this is the only way I can think of deterring them. Then I can reseed the bald patches which *curses* now that the temperature has dropped so much can't happen until the ground warms back up. Grr. Still, I now know that it's utterly useless hoping or expecting OH to go on line, find a supplier and actually buy me the present I have been asking for for three years, and to do it for myself. The closest he came was handing me the catalogue which came free with the Devon Wildlife magazine.

A batch of Twinks has been baked because I ate the last four for breakfast.
    Better is good enough.

    Chimney sweep booked
    Washing up done
    Wheelie bins put back
    Bird feeder washed out
    LR and DR hoovered

Back to the hoovering now but I have a mog on my lap - probably because they had up ended their basket on the sofa and landed on the floor.

oh dear, attack of the cough and virus lergy is persisting in the mamaninie household. 3 smalls crashed on the sofa wrapped up in blankets watching telly at the mo and I am cooking a risotto for tea, theyve already had some hot chocolate and squirty cream after an epic journey (5 min walk) home from school. I fear my homework/reading/violin practice enforcement might suffer a bit this week :(

I'll do the bathroom while Im upstairs later, trying to get a couple of loads of washing turned round and tea cooked first. DW on already :)

    Aaaand relax...

Really chilly here, kiddies in bed with hot water bottles, heating and LR fire on, amaretto coffee made, mince pie at the ready!

Front driveway has been decluttered of leaves and looks heaps tidier. Still need to sweep the gravel back into place - job for the weekend. Back garden also needs de-leafing which might be done tomorrow. Looks like brown bin collections are finished for the year  never mind. I will fill it then empty on my patch behind the fence.

Kitchen tidied and S&S after tea, so generally good here. Hall and downstairs loo floors need mopping. In fact I may clean the entire w/c tonight,it will warm me up lol.

But I'm going to browse the kleeneze Xmas book just now, with my coffee.

Glad the op went well, effy x

Bathroom ceiling still unpainted, as I couldn't face getting the paint, trays, roller etc from the garage while it was raining heavily. Another day perhaps.

Main bedroom bed linen washed, and also two loads of towels.
