thank you all for the kind comments about the stockings, they are quite easy to do (knitted on the flat and sewn up back seam)
back from martial arts have written lists of christmas cards post, hand deliver and work and made a start on writing them.
ive done myself a paper list of yesterday and todays fly lists so i can clear them before putting the puter on tomorrow - well thats the plan.

need to find some more brown paper (or black bags) to wrap the last of the parcels now then get tea ready for when Dh comes back. tuesday are hectic, hes done the kids martial arts class (none turned up so instructors trained) brought me home pick up DS2 and his friend to drop them at explorers then head back to martial arts for adult class. saw someone turn up for that as we were leaving to bring me home. once thats finished we have about 25 mins to eat before gong and picking the boys up from explorers. then do tomorrows pack ups fall in the bath and then bed.
im having a HH with todays yankee candle (from advent DH bought me) and a glass of spitfire while its nice and peaceful

  • Hope you've eaten now dusty

    Love those stockings Mrs mp

Spent too long round friends house drinking tea and catching up so flying was minimal but pretty 'surface' tidy here (don't open any drawers or cupboards!!)

No plans for tomorrow so I can super fly round the house whilst littest naps. Really fancy a Victoria sponge so if I still do by morning il make one.

Sticks from the woods for you lw and anyone else. Really feels like winter today, wind was bitterly cold.

Night all, will catch up again tomorrow morning x

No flying for me today. I've spent most of the day at A&E with DH. He has to have his appendix out tonight.

Oh yikes! I had mine out when I was 20. I'm sure everything will be fine and he'll be home with you soon x

Well I've been good and cleaned the kitchen floor and skirting, it wasn't as bad as I thought. It has that travertine style laminate in a beige marble effect therefore always looks dirty (to me). Was quicker to get on hands and knees with cloths and spray than faff with mop, which doesn't really rub up all the patches. Hence getting the skirting done too. And since I washed and wiped after dinner, the kitchen looks in good shape, except for this:

Love it!! We take a phot every night and then I make a diary up for the elf to leave on Christmas eve. Tonight snowflake had a bath in a bowl of marshmallows. He had a little towel, yellow duckie and cucumber slices on his eyes. I would share a picture but I don't know how!

almost!!! cleared the yarn off my winder.. and almost!! up to the armhole shaping on the back.. the rest WILL be quicker!

OH driving to his mothers and back on Thursday.. I'm madly worried about his safety.. its a shpoopy drive and twice in one day is evil as a passenger so must be worse as driver.. I may need some safe journey vibes.. the closer it gets the more flappy I am.. he is picking up a huge tv, and its stand, a coffee table and.. a cat.. all of which were his previously and are coming back.. I'll need to do a school run on my own.. which will mean the weekend is a dead loss as my hips cant cope.. but.. needs must and all that!
