aww! I have just been driving with no lights in night...
I was coming back from town and tried to pass a bus at the bus stop. As I was doing that bus moved off. I hit the breaks, stopped, just annoyed bus driver (he also stopped and wasn't happy and was waving hands). I carried on driving.
Than, by the traffic lights, someone (it turned to be person used to work with), started honking and shouting through window "put the lights on!!!"). Than I realised and switched them on.
I feel so dull now. I should be happy I got home safely and feel sorry now for the bus driver (it could be nasty). Have to think about better routine, when getting into a car.

Have to think about better routine, when getting into a car.
I have a routine where I put my lights on when it gets dark
A workmate followed a bloke for miles flashing him 100's of times. Bloke finally pulled over and asked what the problem was.
When told he didn't have his lights on, he pointed out neither did my workmate.....0 -
Are you a relatively new driver? I did this a number of times in my first year of driving. What will your verse be?

If you see a car being driven in poor weather or as it is getting dark without lights it is usually being driven by a young woman.
I don't know why!I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -

Haha epic
The problem is when you're in a street lit area. I would occasionally be driving along happily without a care in the world, then when I got into a dark area I realised.
Haven't done it for a few years now though. What will your verse be?

See it happening more now because of drl's. Idiots.0

I've see this nearly every day on my commute to and from work, at least with DRLS you get some light, the ones I see have no lights on whatsoever.0

I blame cars that have dashboard lights that come on automatically when you get in the car. I was taught that when it's too dark to see the dials, put your lights on!Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0

I see it too often and daily, the habit I would suggest is lights on, for every journey from now until BST starts.0 -

Have to say I pretty much do that as most days are really dull in winter anyway, so lights do benefit other road users even during the day. What will your verse be?

Yep, I have been driving since June. Next time, when someone flashes, bleeps and waves I will check my lights (of course I am going to remember to switch them on before driving).
