  • Aww Jakes-Mum, your lovely little Girl sounds AMAZING....I was almost getting teary myself reading that....She sounds very special....Enjoy your Christmas with her and the rest of your lovely Family xXx :)

    Thank you Sue....I hope you're feeling better....xXx

I'm still feeling very down....I'm exhausted as my Mondays are pretty busy and VERY draining.....so I'm just waiting for my Tesco Delivery and then I'm going to head off to bed....Just need my rest right now I think....but I've got to balance that with Work and Placement and everything else....I'll get there....

Potted £1.50 this Evening...so I'm pleased with that....Still haven't gone anywhere near my Pot except to put things in it....I WILL NOT be opening the Pot until next November....

Speak to you all tomorrow at some point xXx

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all.

Welcome to more and more new potters. You know it all makes sense - good luck with your savings.

There is some great potting going on and far more than normal (I believe). Keep it up and we may smash £100,000 next November. :money:

I potted 4 x £1 coins, but have more to pot - I'll sort tomorrow.
I'm just glad of last years savings as we have gone a little OTT this year, but not all for Xmas.
But, Xmas is nearly all sorted - well 95% anyway. :p

  • My little pot hasn't had much going in. However, today I collected 2 items from Argos and used a £10 gift card I got from the recent promotion they were running. The goods were 72p under £10 and I thought I'd just lose out, but II was given the change.

So Argos paid me 72p for the two gifts and my sealed pot got the reward. I know it's not much, but it feels pretty good!

  • Evening potters, well I've returned from the hen weekend with some left over spending money- x5 £2 coins for my £2 pot plus £1.02 for my everything else pot, very pleased with that! Also had a fabulous time with the girls- much giggling and pampering was just what was needed.

Hope everyone is well- I'm off to read back through the thread now

What stark contrast to Lily's Nativity eh, jakes-mum! This PC lark ruins so much in life for all. :(

Your DH is exactly the same as mine, scotmumof3, he never refers to fallen money as being RK, moans it me for doing so too! Well saved.

Get as much sleep and relaxation as possible, Helen, it will help a lot. I know you've got chaos tomorrow, but slow down after that - and rest well.

You said it all with the last phrase, GettingOrganised, it's THAT what's important - what a little amount does to us all as individuals. Very well done! :D

Excellent Merry, a GREAT time and fantastic savings made it a brilliant weekend. So pleased you enjoyed both!

Not too worry, 32b3, look ahead to the weekend! Sorry, couldn't resist it. ;) You saved some cash so at least THAT was good.
Goodnight, folks, sleep well and sweet potting dreams! ;)

Refund for cracked eggs came through today into my bank account so I will put the same amount into my holding pot.

I got rather confused today as I wanted some change for a Christmas Fair, so I took the money from my holding pot and when working out what I had spent I seemed to be missing some of the money. However, after tea I went to sit back on the sofa and there was a £2 coin!

Father Christmas (aka my son in law) gave me a present of some Guylian chocolates because I was one of the helpers at the Fair so they have gone in my goodies cupboard. I wonder how long they will last!
