  • Hope you feel better soon Sue.
I have opened a new savings account and have put the money from the vouchers I used in Mr T so $20 (sorry no pound sign on my kindle) deposited and I have also put a few coins in my jar. I just hope I can keep it up.

  • Just thought I would pop by and say hello, as I have been really busy lately, so haven't really kept up but everyone is doing so well.

I am so disorganised with christmas so not sure how its going to go yet. So much to do and buy:(

Anyway I shall be glad when we get to Friday as I am finished work until the new year.

I potted £2.45 the other day. I have a load of change in my purse, which DD gave me as payment for some presents I bought for her friends on my cc, so will need to sort that and put it in my pot later. :)

Hope you feel better soon Sue. x

Sue-UU - soo sorry you feeling so poorly. Dose yourself up and wrap up warm. Hope you soon better and sending some ((hugs)).

Another £2 coin and a 50p. Have they started making more £2 coins? There seems to be a real glut of them, which is great for me :D
I expect it's all the people from the last SPC challenge's money hitting the banks and streets :rotfl:
Hey everyone, I have to admit I still haven't opened my sealed pot but definitely plan to this week
The opening day was the 27th November so please, please open it and declare over on the old thread as we are all waiting for the GRAND TOTAL :D

Just a £1 for the pot as another day without change

You're all doing so well - those pots must be starting to get heavy already :)

  • Potted a few coins, I'm now starting to keep one £20 note, one £10 and one £5 in my bag along with £4 of coins, mainly for buses and I'll always break the £20 if I'm in a shop..

I ended up with 2 £10 notes today, was tempted to pot one but I've stuck it behind the tubes of the century saver so now I don't need to add any more coins to it, they can automatically go into the pot :D

  • Morning Everyone :)

Aww Sue, I'm so sorry to hear that you have a Chest Infection....I had one earlier in the Year so I know how awful they are....Just rest up, drink plenty of fluids and don't worry about us here on the Thread...we just want you to be well....xXx

Well I survived my manic day yesterday....I left the house at just after 5.30am and got back around 9pm....I was exhausted and nearly fell asleep on the Tube which is not like me!! However, I pretty much fell into bed and was asleep in a few minutes....Feel much more refreshed now.... :)

Am feeling more positive now....Which is a good thing....I just have to keep on going....that's been my Motto for the past few Years and it seems to Work....so I WILL Keep On Going!! :D

Am Potting £4.50 this morning.... :D:D:D

Hope you feel much better soon Sue.

I thought I had a £1 coin in my purse. I had it with my 20p from the other day (Monday). I was going to pot the 20p (I did) and keep the £1 in my purse just in case. I decided to pot it today and when I went to get it, it was gone  I know Little Miss Gap wouldn't steal from me (she has no need to anyway ;)) so the only explanation is that I potted it already! :o Automatic potting? Subconcious potting? Or I'm just going pot-ty! :D
