Good morning, I keep popping on for a look to see if the total sum saved in SPC has been posted, yet, cant wait to find out total. I got myself a new sealed pot, last pot was too easy to acces so now use that one as my holding pot. 1p roadkill yesterday,, I owed my OH £8, gave him a tenner and he gave me a shiny £2 coin so popped it into my pot. How does everyone use their holding pot, when do you transfer the money to your sealed pot, once a week/monthly, not sure or can you pop it in sealed pot once you are sure it is not needed?

No potting for a few days due to Christmas events getting in the way! A great time though. However, I am now able to pot 2 x £1. :j:j

  • Another £2 coin and a 50p. Have they started making more £2 coins? There seems to be a real glut of them, which is great for me :D

  • Potting away quietly as usual. OH came in from pub with 3 x £25 gift cards for Farm Foods! He's in the Social Club and usually gets some vouchers.I'm going to put the cash in when I spend them, although it could take all year, I've only just started on the last one from last Christmas. Bought my turkey with it, rest is earmarked by OH for Lemonade and stuff.

Flippin eck, Lynsey! You're looking ahead somewhat aren't you?!!! We haven't even had this year's Grand Target revealed yet, though.....;) Can't wait til Friday. :j

Reach for the stars Sue. :D
I'm looking forward to Friday also, but have a "gut feeling" next November will be massive. There seems an extra "vibe" here (No. 8 challenge), though it could be just me. :o

Potted 2 x £2 coins that I couldn't be bothered to sort out last night. More to follow later and I WILL start 2015 with at least £100.

Have a great day and don't let Xmas stress you..................... well not too much!!

*runs in* I FORGOT TO FEED HIM LAST NIGHT!

I'm worried he may try to bite my fingers with hunger when I do it tonight so best give him 'double dinner' - this is what we call it if the dogs have had their dinner but then there are loads of leftovers from human feasting, generally after a roastie :D

Hey everyone, I have to admit I still haven't opened my sealed pot but definitely plan to this week so will like to join again this year. I am not going to set a target, just see what I can get...(ok secretly hope for £150-£200). ;)

I normally take part in other saving challenges (£2 savers etc) but this is the overall pot. ;)
