Please can I join? No specific target in mind, just want to save as much as possible! :j
BTW what does everyone use their spc money for?Mortgage - £105,5000 -
I've got a century saver as my pre pot, it never gets full but I like to keep about £25 in there (I get a lot of cabs and never want to come unstuck).
I'll use my spc cash for paying bills or Christmas if I have no bills left, or savingnext year will be my first pot opening. It's just fun to wonder what total will be, even if it does all go the same way as the big notes

Welcome PrincessLou.
Sue,will be along to give you a number and give you a formal welcome. Please have a read over post 1 on page 1 as that will give you the rules and regulations for the challenge. But please do ask questions if you need to.
We will be opening our sealed pots on NOVEMBER 5th 2015 so please ensure you report in with your savings, even if you don't post very often it is still nice to her what people achieve and also we add each amount to the grand total.
Good luck with your potting
I am hoping to use my savings towards xmas presents, as long as I have no disasters to pay for in the meantime, aka my car.
Have potted £1.10 today.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

Are you going to hit the shops this week Saver-upper?..............
She has a few more little sale items in her stocking, including some stick pencils she wanted (pencils which look like they are made out of sticks). She asked Santa for a cuddly lion as she collects Jellycat toys, so she was very easy. I am expecting it to get less easy as she gets older, but for now I am happy
Hi,Glitterbaby,
Yes,I really must get a wriggle on.I have written down a few ideas, and will go out a few times this week ( after finishing work at lunch-time tomorrow, and I have Wednesday off.)
My kids are aged nearly-6 to 12yo.I never realised how easy I had it when it came to buying presents when they were little.Even my 5yo is hard to buy for now,cos she eyes up everything her 2 older sisters have, and wants that .SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

LoLo - please note that instead of giving you the following No on the list I've given you No 49! I'm sure that member would have returned by now, if she does, I'll give her a new one. I've also put you Target on, I hope you manage to pot that much - maybe even more!

As it is Sunday I put the £4.88 which was left over from my food budget into my pot.
Regards my meal out, I pretended it was from next week's sundries budget (which leaves it quite low) and put the left over money from this week's in the pot too, £1.23.
I wonder how I will do this week? And at the end of the month I will work out my annual spending - so far my income has exceeded my expenditure - not by that much, but Mr Micawber would be proud of me.Not Rachmaninov

The proceeds from my pot will be holiday spends :T
Since my mum died a couple of years ago of lymphoma aged only 63. Instead of an inheritance, my lovely Dad now likes to take the family on holiday. That's me DH and our 2 children and my brother, my sister in law and my 2 nieces. Dad loves to travel but he wouldn't go on his own and needs 8 of us to look after him :rotfl:
It's been a lovely way to create new family memories after all the sad times.
Makes me very excited when something goes in the pot... Will it be spent on a cocktail, or an ice cream or a nice meal?0 -
