    I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all.

A couple of more pieces added to the Xmas puzzle and not many more needed to finish. I just hope I don't end up with one piece missing - just the one problem pressie to resolve.

5 more £1 coins potted. This should be a good week potting-wise (I hope).

You be sure to go on and have a really lovely time, Frogletina, after all, we can't be penny watching ALL the time, so enjoy it! ;)

    Hi Sue-UU

I had a nice time with three of my friends at a local Thai and Indian restaurant where we decided to eat from the buffet.

Spent more than I meant to as the others decided to have a dessert so I did too...

With drinks and a service charge my share was £18, which was more than I had intended to spend, but the company was good and that is what matters in the end.

  • Went to the pub at lunchtime with my friend, and took a tenner out of the bank with intention to spend it. I only spent seven, so had 3 left, and so I put it in the pot, as it's three pounds I would have spent. :D
No debt left now. Saved £111 in our sealed pot last year. And £272.13 this year! Also we have £2300 in savings. :j

    SPC #468 :D Target £250 for 2015.

Hi everyone, have brought myself a sealed tin ready for this years pot. I am just going to drop £2 & £1 into it, then have a pot for smaller change that I can swap at work when needed. Have already potted £1.77.

  • Evening all,

Had a lovely day - took my DD horse riding then got to see her in a Christmas showcase at her drama group. Got us a drink and a cake in the interval and got 2 x £2 coins so have popped them in the pot along with a 50p from my purse.

Glad you enjoyed your meal out Frogletina

Are you going to hit the shops this week Saver-upper?.

In our house, Mum and Dad only buy 1 present, then you get a present from Santa and a stocking. DD asked for some playmobil so that was easy and I managed to get it in the sale and with cashback. She has a few more little sale items in her stocking, including some stick pencils she wanted (pencils which look like they are made out of sticks). She asked Santa for a cuddly lion as she collects Jellycat toys, so she was very easy. I am expecting it to get less easy as she gets older, but for now I am happy :D
